I almost added the Israel angle as one of my possibilities but decided not to because some of that speculation is simple antisemitism. However, as you noted, Kirk has recently backed away from his Israel support. This was posted a month ago. I don't think this is what happened. Makes less sense to me than the other possibilities, but it would not be totally out of character for Israel to do. They were certainly very quick (and coordinated) in their message making his death about them. Who knows?

I said this is a logical outcome after our country had a final chance at coming together nearly 30 years ago but instead splintered to the point of no return where we are now. Where was this energy for all the school shootings? If you want to play the politics game, where was this energy when the MN Speaker of the House and her husband, and a MN state senator were murdered? I think this is possible. Ben Gvir, Netanyahu, and literally the official account of the state of Israel have all tweeted about Kirk, of course making it about themselves. If my search is accurate Kirk hadn’t even tweeted the word “Israel” since August 14, so seems weird for foreign officials to tweet about a political commentator. He also discussed with Megyn Kelly the possibility that Epstein was a Mossad agent. Even though Kirk was pro-Israel, a lot of his Turning Point USA followers were not, and he platformed multiple people critical of Israel (I actually think he did a good job moderating a recent debate between Dave Smith and Josh Hammer)
