Hard no. Never, ever do this kids. The heated plastic releases all kinds of nasty chemicals. However, this does explain why Viratas is the way he is. -

ACA successfully made healthcare affordable. The ACA is an outstandingly good program. Red or blue doesn't matter. What matters is that lower income folks can get help with their health care. The billionaires will keep making billions, that won't change. I can't imagine anyone having a problem with keeping Americans healthy, even if it costs the billionaires less than 1%. -
Doesn't the fact that half the kids choose shirt and shorts prove my point? I'd assume the majority that choose a singlet come from a wrestling background and have been wearing singlets for years. I do agree that the issue isn't participation but lifelong fans. Most of my core group of high school friends were former wrestling teammates, but not a single one follows the sport today.

It appears Trump has $40 Billion burning a hole in his pocket. I'd modestly suggest he give it to the US farmers rather than Argentina.
-
I didn't know about this when I commented earlier. I trusted the record participation numbers without looking into individual stories like this. That's my fault.

Lockhart got that doctor money since h wasn't able to do any Draft Kings NIL advertising so you know he he can afford a better lawyer than whatever Focus is putting on layaway retainer. I hate to say it because he sucks as a person, but he runs the "gauntlet" of Rey-Fox, might beat Nelson that feels like a <s>crappy match</s> crapshoot. He would never beat Lockhart because of the above so I could never even entertain that silly thought and he would have a 50/50 chance against Y2K monster Lesnar because his modern movement and cardio and gtf out of bounds awareness are, ugh, superior. -

Did someone say David Carr?

I’m not saying if participation is or isn’t high at the moment. I can only offer an anecdote. After my kid’s soccer practice I was talking to his 11 year old buddy from wrestling. I asked if he’ll be wrestling this year and he said, “nah, too revealing”. You can call it an excuse or not, but it is a stigma that our sport has and, at least in this case, participation could have theoretically been boosted +1 with a different uniform.
-
I agree with what you're saying about it being an entry point issue on occasion. In Washington here the local Junior Highs all give the kids a choice between singlet or shirt and shorts for matches. I'd say about half choose each in year 1. Almost none choose shirt and shorts in year 2. But overall participation is super strong and is not among our bigger issues. We struggle to turn competitors into lifetime fans. We don't struggle to get competitors.

Maybe that was the best he could come up with while sitting on one of his dozen s#i!!ers.

Irrigated corn was under 200, dryland corn was decent, irrg beans 65-70. On dryland beans now looks like a lot of 40. Wheat in June was 60. Good year with rain but price sucks. Fall harvest running Deere s680 12 row corn head and 40' flex drapper for beans ?& milo. Brother has a second drapper use both in wheat and rented s780 combine from Deere so running two machines. A year ago the rental machine cost $25k this year Deere uped the rate and changed from separator to engine hours and was $50k. After wheat harvest one of the drappers needed $25k in repair parts, $50k with labor. Impact of steel price, labor shortage etc. Did I mention commodity prices suck. Using the other drapper in beans, repairs will come later. -
A lot of people are wondering are those real gambling winnings or something else. But I do agree he should pay on his winnings. If true. if I won 1.5 million at black jack or poker I would have a more concrete story. But ya.
-
I am ok with Prizker gambling and paying taxes on his winnings.

Yes. I am leaving when my kids get to college boss. Few more years and I’m out. Like many / the rest of the white collar high tax paying people.

Isn't it pretty easy to move to a new city?

Ok more recents I got: 1) Lockhart - like I said Focus is just lucky. Lucky to be wrestling, lucky to be in college, lucky to not be in prison. A coin flip is nothing for him. Sure @bnwtwg has a good point and i like John I've eaten steak with the guy but even if he won the flip the Ferrari family lawyer would jump in and make them flip again. How many times can the reflip come up heads. 2) Zabriskie - he just wouldn't. 3) Walter - just not a better small guy 4) Fox - nope 5) Mocco - well now you're prob gonna ask which Mocco the Iowa Mocco or the OSU Mocco. Well I hope the Iowa version but it could be either. How are ya gonna footsweep a spider? Now you might be thinking there are lots of legs on that spider it should be easy but there's only two that matter and no one gets to the focus feet. There are some others but it's been a long day. -
As I’ve stared it isn’t just Twitter. But whatever. Go on hating on Elon or whatever boss. Americans pay to much in taxes today. And it keeps getting worse

What won’t Brandon Johnson tax ?

So what was your point of starting a thread about Chicago proposing a tax on Twitter and including a long article about taxing Twitter? Or was that just an excuse to bitch about other stuff? -

He sucks overall. I do like his opposition to fluoride and all the crap we put in food supply though. -
I don’t care about Twitter. Which part of that did I say I cared about. Fun fact. They will have an impossible time enforcing that. Or if they can they just will not employee people here as much. Either way it’s not good for the state or Chicago. do you like excessive taxes ? You dodged every single comment about the governments rampant spending vs additional taxes white collar people are leaving Illinois and Chicago In droves. Are twitter employees likely to be white collar or blue collar ?
