    if it was a college rivalry dual i could accept the goofy backward "it helps the sport" argument, but for all he knows the guy he's wrestling is in danger for being there at all, or at least is a guest in some sense.

    First time in awhile i've watched a match, seen a guy get worn out, and think it was based on muscle power not lung power.

    remember when I would occasionally say that Lee wasn't in the top 5 in the NCAA if judged by pure mentall toughness and everyone would freak out....

    Its a puff piece, but its one with a lot of candid photage of the athletes, so at least we get a little insight into how they act off the mat. Better than long build ups till the moment we finally get to find out when Pyles decided Bo Nickal was special or something....

    i have to say its similar to last year when I was absolutely abused after the glory thing for saying either he should be wrestling now or not at all, and was correct, just not in the way anyone wanted. If he is really still a question mark you would think the Brands' would have been smart enough to spin him as doubtful and make it good news if he came back, the current spin just makes them look ridiculous.

    I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if you offered a bet that the opposite was closer to the team score I would take it.

    I'm trying not to be a jerk about it but if you are talking about wrestling its necessary, the problem with Bouzakis in the Crook match wasn't the getting beat, it was the quitting. Bumped up or not thats not supposed to happen.

    Plus it doesn't make a lot of sense situationally. "hey while your competing to win a starting spot at 133, do you mind losing 8 pounds to cover a dual? it will seriously undermine your long term goals but we don't like cyclones!" "Sure! Can I keep the spot?" "No its gonna go to Lee without a wrestle off, what do you want us to look like idiots?" It only makes sense if Lee is done.
