    its culture. Parents seem to have done well on some fronts and not on others, but they're just gen z narcissists. Why would AJ fall into the splits and flip the crowd off? Because he needed to have the headline be him no matter what it was.

    one of the things that made me give him slack formerly was john smith saying what a great teammate he is, which seemed believeable at the time....not so much now.

    FWIW He just apologized on his instagram and said Iowa have been good to him, dissappointed in myself, etc...

    Hard to deny they have put culture on the back burner. Its kinda sad when someone makes a deal with the devil and then realizes there wasn't any upside.

    honest question, and I won't respond, if he had shoved him would that be grounds for getting dq'd? I'm aware you probably won't accept that comparison but just as a hypothetical. and i'm not excusing his behavior I'm saying the response was outsized.
