  1. pyles is a spineless idiot.
  2. this is probably because of that loser pyles....
  3. you not understanding how talking works is not on me. glad we're in agreement.
  4. Threads aren't some game of ping pong between the initial post and every other post. 6/1?
  5. ps downey just got pinned by isaac trumble!
  6. Ferrari is like 2 tiers of talent above downey...downey doesn't even get in shape. The only thing that makes them similar is that they are knuckle heads with character issues, but downey's are the type that show up a lot clearer on the mat
  7. against whom? What odds would I take to bet that he takes a loss this season? Probably 4/1 with the caveat that he wrestles 15 matches.
  8. i took your question as an implication of incredulity which i would have respected.
  9. I think he competes with a controlled aggressiveness that will translate to long term improvent and dominance. He was in high school when Carr was winning NCAAs in his third year of college, his upside is tremendous in comparison. I think he's gonna be more aggressive, wrestle better on the mat, win scrambles...you're correct I'd feel a little bit silly just saying things like "he's better on top", but I think I'll have a claim to 24 hours from now.
  10. that he's better or that he was hurt?
  11. whats your point? you're just acting like i said he was gonna lose so you can pretend to be right about something?
  12. yeah fair enough. I just have a lot of faith in Hamiti...i didn't pick him to tech or pin anyone....
  13. the odds that his season is going to less fun than most anticipate is 90%. He'll see him infrequently, he won't be at his best, get his fourth title to loud but not thunderous applause...hopefully ready to tear up freestyle.
  14. Not convinced. Thank you for the info though.
  15. What has swiderski done? I'll im aware of is that he got a push from Flo, and lazy four eyed ignorant dorks like Pyles do this based on which coaches take the time to bully them.
  16. he has competed too much, hopefully he's has the chance to technically adjust to folk
  17. i think he's actually better, but the overall appeal is his wide open style. He was also injured at NCAAs last year so many haven't really seen him.
  18. Based on limited knowledge you seem a little pessimistic towards wisconsin. Gomez and Model might get bonus, you lot AA lamont taking the L....but I think Bono does a pretty good job with his team so maybe i'm biased.
  19. The crucial difference would be that its a lot easier to draw kids to tempe. So it has the same strengths but better, same weaknesses perhaps, but the have california to recruit also. Think before you snear.
  20. it is difficult to imagine him shutting up...
  21. thats why i started thinking about of OSU was that great a gig, it Pop gonna go there to lead a dry program? Would he be better off in any event? How much of OSU is john smith at this point?
  22. ferrari would kill him. way more disciplined. so we are waiting for this case to play out?
  23. I worry that OSU is seen as too much as a party school to attract the type of kids who are gonna be ultra elite, they dont seem to have amazing attendance either...so basically I see a social scene that discourages discipline and doesn't care that much about wrestling...through in the poor academic reputation...maybe not the right enviroment in 2022
