Cannon is a stud, dont get me wrong here...but i don't see him jumping from 41 to 57

I'd think if Sammy isn't able to compete we'll see Desselle and Shaw battling it out for this spot. Shaw did get the W last year with a td coming in the final seconds of the 7/8 match at Beast of the East but it was Landon's first time competing since tearing his acl the year before. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for these practices.

TNwrestling replied to RandolphTJones's topic in College Wrestling
maybe you should get off your couch every once in a while and go see how the world operates now. you really think, that in the grand scheme of things, that bo having some fun in the way hes announcing his college decision is THAT big of an issue? -

You guys are all exhausting. You all say you like AJ's posts and his antics are good for the sport, it gets eyes on wrestling. Then Bo does something as harmless as this and you all rage. Your priorities here are all out of whack. -

what a stupid thing to say lmao first, you realize theres more than one person at flo right? so they can have more than one thing being made or followed at a time. second, flo is a media company. they make money off being on social media. just becuase YOU don't like the big bad facebook doesnt mean you're the all knowing seer on how to put out content. third, and most importantly, bo has over 100k followers, that means over 100k eyes on what he posts. flo would be STUPID not to capitalize on his content. not to mention hes a generational talent and good working relationships bode well for future content. just ignorance all around. -

All three of you miss the bigger picture. Of course its all for show. Like it or not social media runs our lives now. Bo has 106k followers on IG. He's making money doing IG. Why would he not promote his account? Why would Flo not capitalize on his fame and make money of their own off him? -
Josh is a class act. For a while after the match, when he came back to coach at Chattanooga, it was like this huge elephant in the room. And anyone who ever talked about it was immediately hulk smashed. To the point where it just became known, you don't talk about that match. For him to bury it publicly finally is great to see. We love josh here in TN and would LOVE to see him step back into coaching.

On second thought...yeah i hope he does mma..

Yeah but paying bounties to injure players isn't the same as paying bounties to beat them in a match.

The question posed was who's the best in the weight class, not whos the best in their time. Wrestling has changed. Prime Askren beats Hodge by a lot. Him bruising people's wrists won't stop Ben's scrambling.
-
But the scenario wasn't Danny Hodge gets to come to the modern times and train like we do now then wrestle a guy from this decade. It was prime Hodge in the 50s vs prime Akren or Starocci.
-
Id take prime Mizzou Ben Askren over Hodge 10 matches out of 10.
-
Snyder most definitely had that better finals matches opponents. His match vs Gwiz is an all timer.
