It always cracks me up that he makes such dumb mistakes sometimes, for instance he made an entire video how Marcus Blaze is the best high school wrestler ever or something along those lines... Said his name about 100 times in the video and every single time said "MARCUS BAZE" lmao.

    I still remember when Chris Phillips beat Brian Roddy, who was a phenom in his own right, as a freshman. Mind you, Roddy was benching 315lbs the summer heading into freshman year during football workouts. Absolute monster. Can't comment on Kolat as I was focused on Ohio wrestling back then.

    Yeah, we're in the wild west these days. Apparently Dave Portnoy helped arrange the deal to get him. I do think the deal is spread over 4 years though, so he might still be behind Arch Manning (who just got another ridic Red Bull deal).

    I thought the same thing, like DAMN he's 100% confident he's going to win. Imagine if he lost, got injured, or something else. Obviously not hoping for that but sheesh going directly from a match to wrestling's "The Decision" is interesting.

    Not to mention that Ohio State is the only ranked D1 wrestling program in the state and there's very few in general. What is there, Kent State, Cleveland State (on the way out), Ohio University... Anyone else?

    I'm genuinely baffled that Ohio State doesn't have the funds to compete with the heavy hitters considering how much $ the school brings in in general. It's like a money printing machine. I thought the NIL era would benefit the Buckeyes if anything, not hurt it...

    It just seems like, aside from Mendez and Welsh, the rest are underperforming. Feldman looks to be regressing this year. Davino looks promising, but he's also not starting over a lackluster Bouzakis relative to his expectations. (BFosr - sure hope these aren't your thoughts I'm plagiarizing - I'm sure you're the only who thinks this).

You're giving yourself too much credit to think that whatever post you wrote is a novel thought, there's about 10,000 pages of people saying the same stuff on various forums. I did not see a post here discussing it. Thanks for thinking ChatGPT composed it though.
