  1. What's wrong with Kevin Jackson?
  2. Pyles made a long post saying how much weight the heavyweight twin gave up vs the comp. Felt like a weird post cuz Mocco, Ross, etc all looked to be around the same weight unless I'm missing something. https://www.instagram.com/p/DJMY9QPtwCg/?igsh=ZHRzaHZ2NHNtamNi
  3. I'm still hoping mine happens
  4. Surprisingly found the full fight, worth the watch:
  5. Yep, pretty sure. I came out of that fight thinking he needs to drop a weight.
  6. Guy was a BJJ black belt I believe. Bo took him down but he did not seem to have an advantage against this guy in the clinch or on the ground. So, once he gets a TD, not sure there's much he can exploit.
  7. Seems like RDR's threat of submissions pretty much neutralized his wrestling. And tbh, Bo looked exhausted in the second round. Throwing sloppy punches and grimacing after hits. Many people are claiming his weight cut was too much (Bo posted on his Instagram that he cut from 226, which was obviously fake and a joke) yet he looked pretty small compared to RDR. I was a bit torn watching, didn't get to see much out of Bo unfortunately. But Bo talks so much crap and acts so arrogant, he kinda had this coming. There's a reason why so many fans are rejoicing. So much for taking out Khamzat.
  8. Bo was a heavy favorite, looks like he lost. Lots of people claiming fraud check confirmed. Discuss.
  9. Watching the open this weekend and it's baffling how old the high school phenoms are. We've got high school sophomores the same age as high school juniors. What the hell is going on? This is a problem specifically bad for wrestling and is just a bad look for the sport. If and when I have kids, should I just expect to have them either get their ass kicked by 19 year olds or hold them back? Anyone else annoyed by this?
  10. On the note of Hamiti - he's only 21 and done with college. Did he screw himself by not taking the usual wrestler route, a la the majority of the other successful phenoms? How many NCAA titles would he have if he would've taken the Bo Bassett route and been a freshman this year?
  11. some are obese and some are women as well... very perplexing.
  12. he did not manhandle him... was very close
  13. I was being a tad tongue in cheek but I really am confused about how old these wrestlers are. Every bracket I'm like wtf, they're __ years old? How is this person wrestling this person for age world teams when one is halfway through college and the other is halfway through high school. I think one is a young phenom about to take over only to find out they're 20. Seems absurd.
  14. How is Luke Stanich, a 3rd year guy at Lehigh, wrestling against all these super young high schoolers?
  15. Based on convos like these, I think the majority on this forum are clueless or completely outdated with their information. Any gymbro down the street at the local gym has better information than what's being discussed here. The fact that people are still thinking all that's out there is steroids from the 80s kinda proves that point. Not saying it as a slight. A lot of people are starting to use retatrutide (next gen fat loss medicine) + ipamorelin + tesamorelin and they actually come out with more muscle than before while cutting tons of weight. Plenty of before and after shots online... Just to say, the science is way ahead and you best believe these athletes, who are making hundreds of thousands of dollars, are trying to get an edge.
  16. I saw a clip on Twitter where Schultz pinned Coon, Coon looked like he was completely unconscious. Might've had his bell rung or choked out.
  17. Good question, idk why either of them wouldn't
  18. Who da hell is Demetrius Thomas
  19. He seems very mortal when watching him compete internationally, yet he's so many levels above anybody else in the USA at 97kg. Seems wild that there's such a large gap.
  20. Ahhh that makes more sense then.
  21. I posted above but I thought they allowed you to challenge at the lower age levels if you go for a SR spot and place (while being eligible for younger age group).
  22. Pretty wild. I thought there was a rule where if you compete in SRs and place, you get to drop down to other age levels you're eligible for and challenge for the spot or something. Am I making this up?
  23. So what's the purpose of Sinclair wrestling at U20s at 86kg and Srs at 92kg?
  24. I feel like Dake has regressed since going to the NLWC. Needs a change of scenery.
  25. Zahid looking real sloppy already
