  1. Maybe, and I'm just spit balling here, but maybe the point is we could go on all day and talk about the atrocities committed by illeagel immigrants, legal immigrants, born citizens, white, black, hispanic, etc etc etc. But nothing is going to get done as long as we only worry about the small pieces of the puzzle our 'leaders' on our side tell us to be mad about...
  2. Sounds like a pretty nice couple days. Where in Florida? I haven’t done a day at the smoker in a few months.
  3. I'm just saying it's more entertaining than those weeks when everyone is an expert on the climate, or immigration weeks, basically out of all the times everyone is an expert on that week's hot topic, virology has been the most fun.
  4. The last Olympic trials, I got married on day one. Shit happens...
  5. I missed those days where everyone was an expert virologist. I'm glad they're back even if only temporarily.
  6. That’s an awful long post of stuff you don’t like; to say you don’t want to type what you do like because it’s too much. You need find some joy in your life. Your are looking for things to find wrong, and looking for misery. Choose enjoyment and happiness, be grateful for what you have. You literally were just asked to post your positives, and refused so you could focus more on your negatives. Not a good vibe for life.
  7. Good cookin doesn’t have to be just for supper on Saturday. Man, not that doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun.
  8. Imagine a life where you put so much weight on how many times someone has posted on an anonymous message board. It’s an interesting world for sure.
  9. Seriously one of my favorite Marley tunes, great album all around.
  10. Nabbed a couple tickets for May 4. Looking forward to this one.
  11. You can believe what you want. You can believe how ever many coaches you want, however many athletes you want, whatever you want. But you and I both know that THAT coach did this in purpose. Very much on purpose so they could give me just enough rage to come on here and scream over and over about it. BECAUSE IM A PATRIOT!!
  12. Or maybe not even the idea, but just the platform to scream “I’m a patriot”, even if their beliefs/behavior doesn’t match up.
  13. So….youre not talking about what actually happened. Just manufactured anger. Glad we cleared it up. And there is that pesky little fact that you started this thread advocating for then to have their scholarships taken away. So, I mean, there’s that…..
  14. And that’s fine, you have every right to. I don’t like it either. But you are taking it a step further by calling for punishment, from a state institution, for a peaceful protest 100% within their rights, and have something taken away from them that they EARNED, because you don’t like their idea. That’s not patriotic at all. That is the exact opposite of what America stands far. You can stand on top of a mountain and scream I’m a patriot all you want, but when you say I don’t agree with how you’re exercising your rights peacefully so you should be punished, you are behaving as unAmerican as it gets.
  15. Well….if someone truly wanted those answers, they could seek those answers out at other sources than anonymous wrestling message boards….
  16. This is literally the most self contradicting post on here. How can you supposedly be a person strong for individual freedom while also at the same time expecting foolishness (or in this case something I don’t agree with) not to be tolerated? I ask you to square those two completely contradicting philosophies with each other please.
  17. As I said, exercising that right IS appreciation. It is exactly that. You or me not agreeing with that particular form of protest does not make it so. Not having the wherewithal (or balls for a better term) to use what you were given to try and better something, is the opposite of appreciation. That’s taking it for granted and believing we shouldn’t have to do any hard work for that freedom, because someone already did it for us. Don’t take my stance as liking it, I don’t. But the ‘hard work’ is doing the things that aren’t popular and getting people to talk about them. THAT’s America.
