This morning's 'break'. DOJ has uncovered a memo by Trump lawyer Kenneth Cheesboro (many believed to be one of the unnamed co-conspirators in the DC indictment) that lays out the plan to steal the election using the fake electors. In the memo he even states that it probably won't fly with the supreme court, but will buy enough time to create distrust about the election and push the fake electors through. I'll say again, these trials need to be televised! Previously Secret Memo Laid Out Strategy for Trump to Overturn Biden’s Win (yahoo.com)

I like a lot of the data above, but gets 'okay time to walk away' for me when we again have to revert everything back to conservative vs liberal. I know liberals who very much agree with what is being said above, I also know conservatives vaxxed to the gills. The most sickening thing to me about covid is that it was a global health issue, that people on both sides made into a political issue and based their decisions on the politics.

I don't know if I'd go along with those as traits of extremism, but maybe more emotional or coping issues. -
Science, AntiScience, and Censorship

Would agree with this. To add, I don't think violence is a pre-requisite for extremism. I believe people can have extremist views and behavior without being violent. In one discussion yesterday I mentioned how for some people, every single topic has to revert to RvD, RvD, RvD. I believe that is a form of extremism. -
I’ll save you the trouble of a bunch of back and forth, because we already know the answer, so I’ll just catch you up on some highlights of the last few days Sean Hannity probably left out: The instructions for his release did not say he could not talk about the case. In fact, if you had read the indictment, you would have seen one of the first things it says is that the defendant does in fact have a right to lie. But these instructions related specifically to no retaliation, threats, intimidation, or other means of obstruction toward anyone involved in the case: jurors, witnesses, and officers of the court (judge and attorneys). Within 24 hours he posted picture of all officers of the courts in which he’s under indictment along with the judge, and posted “if you come after me, I will come after you”. He also made retaliatory posts in regard to Mike Pence and his testimony cited in the idictment. DOJ requested a protective order, not a gag order, but precise order in regards to evidence and again people involved with the case. The judge ordered trump, on Saturday, to have a response to this by Monday 5pm. Trump asked for a delay because they didn’t have time to prepare, yet his lawyer was on five network talk shows Sunday, and trump continued to post incendiary remarks about people involved with the case. Judge said no to delay, they got their response in. There are plenty of opinions I’d like to share about his response, but I’m keeping this fact based. Judge then ordered the two sides to get together and come back with two potential dates they could have a hearing on this no later than this Friday. DOJ responded back we can go anytime, Trump responded back we can go Monday afternoon or Tuesday. Judge said (just recently) see you Friday at 10:00am. Regardless of what Hannity and Winters tell you, that is the timeline of events since the indictment, per the documents of the court, and Trumps social media page.

Did you read the indictment or the conditions of release?

Maybe instead of definition we should talk about characteristics of extremism. -

I couldn’t imagine living a life where literally every topic is RvD RvD RvD. The anxiety alone would be brutal. -
And this is what your little adorableness is all for. Honest question, you really think that’s what this next hearing is about. Not being able to ‘talk and make decisions’? Or Do you think it’s about being given instructions upon his release, instructing him not to threaten or retaliate against the people involved in the case, and spending the next four days after agreeing to this conditions doing exactly that, directly against the judge, prosecutor, and at least two listed witnesses. Its a simple question they does not require a bunch of yeah buts and what abouts.

This is true. Just like there’s no laws against being happy, or sad….or being a fool!

Oh come on now, we can find ways to bash methods of smoking too!

This. Very much this. And the best is when they tell you they are too damn busy, or don’t care enough about it to read ‘it’….but care enough or have enough time to sit with strangers and argue about what ‘it’ says. -
Unless his lawyers are doing his social media posting for him, he is. Although I guess today’s filing you could try to put on the lawyers for using legal procedures and arguments ***directly against the instructions of the court*** But, which way do you think this is going…..Trump listening to what the lawyers say to do, or the lawyers listening to what Trump says to do??

Continuously defying the terms of his release at arraignment.

Todays update of interest. Trump and DOJ were told to confer and come up with two dates and times by this Friday they could have a hearing on the protective order requested by DOJ. DOJ responded we can do it anytime this week. Trump responded we can do it next Monday (specifying after 12:00pm) or anytime Tuesday. As each day passes he flirts more and more with being held in jail until trial.

Where did you get that definition? -
If you are familiar with any of our (former) international officials, you may remember the late great Tom Clark, whom could not have a conversation without being a genius, witty smart ass. Most chats included many quips and great lines....a couple of my favortie: Hey next time you're at Lowe's, check out the clearance they have on aisle four......a whole pallet full of go f**k yourself. AND You know what, lets say we go to lunch. I'll buy you a go f**k yourself grouper sandwich

Actually you said it doesn’t matter, in answer to someone asking what a smoking tube does. When it does matter, because you can grill shorter cooks and get a nice smoke flavor. Not everything with smoke needs to be hours on end with crisp bark. Grilled chicken breast? Uses a smoke tube. Big cut of grouper fillets, smoke tube is perfect. Just a couple examples of meat you don’t want sitting in a smoker for hours.

In his response to DOJ’s request for a protective order…due to his continuous posting in regard to the officers of the court and listed witnesses…Trump’s lawyers allowed him to go all “but Joe Biden”, including a picture of Biden drinking from a dark Brandon coffee mug in the filing. You cannot make this shit up.

Five kids is something isn’t it, the life of controlled chaos…

That's our biggest. Have six different softball leagues, flag football, and tennis programming. My main task right now is a large racquet facility we are building, 44 courts between tennis and pickleball. Spent a lot of time traveling, but once '16 hit wanted to stay home and in the community. (Except for the Jamaica trips of course!!) Now the bulk of my work is putting out fires or coming up with a way to do something.

Loaded answer haha. Still coaching but from a step back, have been an AD in the past as well as a position at OTC prior to Rio; now work in city's parks (youth and beer leagues, other athletics for 250,000 people). Had my fun, now I'm going to relax and wait for my gov't pension....

At the end of the day, the speed at which it is tabulated does not benefit the accuracy of the count. Given that even after Election Day there is a process of verification and certification that doesn’t end for two months, the speed at which we declare a winner doesn’t bother me at all, the accuracy is really the most important thing.

Now we’re getting into some substance. I like it.
