In addition to donor lists, I think living donors may be an option. I think they need to match Ben's blood type and have roughly similar sized lungs.

LOL. You are precious! You get called out for your nonsense, try to deflect, make personal attacks and go a bit crazy! I'm fine but not sure about you.
-
You're the one trying to dredge up old sh*t and I don't even know why you bring up Logan Ryan, nobody else did. Its like you are a spurned Iowa fan who still holds a grudge against Seth for leaving and having success elsewhere. I think Seth has commented on that night several times and he's the first to admit it wasn't his proudest moment and a learning lesson for him. But he's moved on and from all accounts has not gotten into trouble since and been a role model. You think SDSU would sign him, Wisconsin would sign and hire him as coach and MATPAC would sign him if they were concerned about his conduct? Geez, time for you to move on.

Ok, no response to my earlier question. I figured as much as the only stipulations not followed are either in your head or made no sense. Nobody would expect someone from out of state with a likely large scholarship to continue to enroll at a school when he's kicked off the team and likely now has to pay his own way. I think in Seth's case, if I recall correctly, the charges were later mostly dropped or made misdemeanors, but I think the legal process took time and maybe he didn't want to put his wrestling career on hold and couldn't easily afford to pay his own way and maybe didn't want to continue at Iowa given the circumstances. The other kid you refer to was from Iowa and may not have gotten much money at all and may have had little to lose by continuing at Iowa. I also think the kid you referred to only started a handful of matches, never qualified for NCAAS and otherwise had a relatively short-lived career. The situations appear very different. Perhaps, Brands didn't expect the success that Seth would have and was ok having him kicked off the team. Glad it all worked out in the end for Seth though. Hopefully, it will work out for Williams whether he stays or not in IC.

What stipulations are you referring to?

Who is PK? Patrick Kennedy is the only wrestler that comes to mind and I heard nothing of him being in the portal. Phil Knight is wrong sport and Paul Krause is a long retired NFL player. I have no idea what UNIC is, except for a castrated male and its spelled Eunuch.

Being charged with a crime doesn't make one an offender. Charges were dismissed. You just slandered someone and maybe you are the criminal here.
-
Charges were dismissed too. Original Poster "JimmySpeaks" is a douchebag.

Any national champs or finalists who were not top 16 seeds?
-
Of course it is. That is why the title of thread weightgate seems confusing as eligibility and weight seem entirely separate issues. Maybe, I'm missing something, but if the guy has used up his eligibility, why isn't it obvious to the Little Rock coaching staff and the team's opponents that he shouldn't have wrestled?
-
Thanks. Someone entitled thread Weight-gate? Seems really strange if the controversy is whether he was out of eligibility but yet still wrestled.
-
I see a couple threads about Brennan and even though I read about ten posts, I have no idea what the controversy is. Can someone provide a quick summary of what the controversy is as I saw a letter on twitter but unfortunately the print size was too small and I couldn't make it out.

Should Fix hang up the boots?
CalWrestler replied to WrestlingRash's topic in International Wrestling
He's already beaten Spencer Lee and he's at about the same level now, if he can handle the weight cut to 57. Fix is one of the better light weights and there are a handful of guys that are capable of winning 57 or 61. Fix absolutely should keep wrestling as long as he wants. -
Conference Realignment in College Wrestling
CalWrestler replied to CowboyYe2024's topic in College Wrestling
Completely disagree with this. Not much point to regular season if everybody is invited. You would just devalue the accomplishment of being a national qualifier for those that have done so in the past and those that would have done so without everybody getting a pass. I haven't even addressed all of the logistical issues created with so many entrants plus many more unwatchable matches. Just hand out participation ribbons to everybody. Kumbiya! -
Recruiting is still bad at Wisconsin given the plethora of home grown top tier talent in its backyard and its inability to recruit them.
-
Nah, its Gable Steveson.

Kollin Moore. For a moment I thought I was watching Kyle Dake. Anyone else see a resemblance?

200% plus increase. That is some inflation!

Is the old friend, the Wisconsin AD? They know each other.
-
But they paid Bono a lot more than his predecessor, so they must have cared at the time.

Seth Gross won a title at SDSU, then transfered to Wisconsin for his last year, but COVID wiped out his chance to repeat as champ.

Who Should Coach Wisconsin Next Year?
CalWrestler replied to animalhouse's topic in College Wrestling
Didn't UW select Bono over both Ben Askren or Damian Hahn like 6 years ago? Either Askren or Hahn would have been far better choices and the program would have been in much better shape. I'm not sure either guy would want the job if it became available, but I think either guy could get things turned around, with Askren probably more quickly as he could probably lure some AWA guys to transfer over. -
Braxton has never AA'd and if he goes to heavyweight as rumored, I think he'll have a tougher go than at 197. Also, Braxton might be a fifth year guy and there is talk he might also transfer. Without a massive haul of quality transfers, UW will be lucky to score 5 points at NCAAs next year as Zargo is only returning qualifier and he contributed just 1.5 points.
-
That might be his only move left. The well has run dry for Bono and three former AAs, Wick, Gomez and apparently Hamiti now have left Wisconsin early. He might as well sign his Italian brethren to try to resurrect his program and hope they don't get themselves in trouble. What does Bono have to lose at this point? UW only returns one national qualifier and he wasn't even close to AAing. He's going to fired if he does nothing.
