  1. Crazy thread title
  2. Are you being told this?
  3. The guy coaching him unfortunately never cracked the code. Of course it's possible and would take surprise me

  5. No he will never retire
  6. He’s on FRL right now. Love the way he talks about the sport. Super excited to see what he can do in Black & Gold
  7. Predictions 57kg LL 61kg Fix 65kg McKenna 70kg Yianni (pls) 74kg MM 79kg McFadden 86kg Dake 92kg Hidlay 97kg Snyder 125kg Captain America
  8. Iowa can make him a D1 champ if he buys in
  9. Zahid has the ability to, and no disrespect, tech Dake. Dake also has the ability to chest wrap bomb him to hell. If it makes to second period and Zahid has a lead and gas in the tank it's over
  10. Any perspective is helpful yeah? For me, let's look at the big dawgs. Duke's ceiling is an ability to win multiple national titles, I want to say floor for him is likely multi time AA and I feel the very same way for Marcus Blaze, except for Blaze I expect him to get at least one. Not too familiar with other names. For PSU those upper weights are full of talent so not sure what to expect out of the rest of those guys. Lockett, Robideau, and Vega all impact right away if they so please and DT gives the green light. I see floor for Lockett being multi time AA with a ceiling of 2 titles. The Robideau and Vega floor are multi time AA with both having a ceiling of a title each. Unlikely to see major production out of the rest of the crop but I'm 100% ignorant and did not follow HS nearly as close this past year as I used to. I know things like 4 year starter and such are/used to be but with the portal being as hot as it is who's to say these guys finish their career where they started? In conclusion, I have no idea. I think for the most part PSU will keep the guys it wants to and will have major succuss with their wrestlers. On the other hand, OKSt has impact right away that PSU probably won't have. I'd give edge to DT and the cowboys if I had to pick but I don't feel good about it
  11. Really tough choice for some leaders will have to make or not make. Do we want best wrestling product or do we want wrestlers to represent their homeland? Bulgaria will fair better than others if thats the decision but that does leave a ton of transplants nationless when it comes to competition
  12. Agreed. OP should listen to interview. Coach Grant Leeth is optimistic it could happen as soon as the next two years
  13. In an effort to fill the void left by college wrestling I’ve been consuming as much wrestling content as possible (I even listened to my first FRL since willie left, yikes). This guy is pretty good, choosing good guests to interview. A little insight to our next(?) D1 program
  14. For goodness sake. They were this close to letting a guy with no eligibility left compete in the post season. No offense to him, he’s nowhere as good as AJ. If AJ continues his good behavior streak while still garnering eyes/views he might get it. NCAA is a business, more than ever now
  15. Where are the results posted?
  16. In an interview he stated that he’s not even totally sure he has the year, he does, or how to go about getting it and using it. Presumably that means if he gets it he probably uses it
  17. I can second that as a fan. S32 is the premier HS tournament.
  18. If they had a few more go their way. Penn could’ve had them
  19. They are at a new school
  20. Look for Pitt to climb to that secondary PA tier in the coming years
