    The Ryder situation is tough. He forwent his senior season in of HS to be in that room. To feel slighted is definitely fair.

    Maybe he takes a Stephen Neal approach? Gable made a pre season roster. As did Coon. Why can’t Kueter, a guy with heavy experience on the field, do the same as them at the bare minimum if he so desired

    Penn State wants the best room in the world. They look for guys who will make it better. If a guy who will make it better comes to them first they will still take said guy because he makes the room better in their opinion

    Just watched the interview. Love Manning. Really liked what he said about the National Dual Meet Championship. We definitely need it and need to prioritize it. I don’t necessarily agree with it taking place post individual championships but would love to see the tournament make some more noise

    I think the culture in the PSU room is that we are bringing the best guys in the world into this room to compete. Damn if your feelings are hurt. Not saying that’s the situation here but if a talent like that wants to come, he fits the culture. Seems like Ryder did not

    First move is a slight advantage. According to ChatGPT, at the highest level, white wins 55% of the time. I figure that say red gets a point right away or just has criteria to start. I think that 55% goes up to more like 60-70%

    Why are we awarding a trophy based on math and strict rules? Wrong guys get awarded all the time a la the NBA MVP. Should be, first and foremost, the eye test. Who was the best. Point blank period. If you want to include math in your decision so be it. I just need my pair of eyes and a screen to watch to decide
