  1. Speaking of disingenuous - burning the dumpster behind Lowe's or looting liquor stores is equivalent to subverting the core of democracy in our country. Love it!
  2. I had religion in mind. Historically, it has been a primary driver or cover for destroying ourselves. I find that interesting because religions are typically benevolent and forbid such behavior.
  3. People will ride the wackiest narrative to the end of the world.
  4. Wait a minute. Hold your horses. Refusing to answer infers something?! Somebody and his inner circle are the kings of the 5th amendment. Can't place him, but its on the tip of my tongue. I'll get back to you.
  5. Man oh man, I long for the good old days when the republicans believed in responsibility and accountability. Out the window now! They blame everyone else for their own stupidity and hatefulness. Snowflake city baby!!!! Lol Tucker and McCarthy's video is for the willfully gullible. Hilarious
  6. Folks sure do love their fantasy narratives. I went onto rumble and searched for "Jan. 6th Insurrection" then I went on youtube with the same search. WOW! Rumble is straight out of Idiocracy. The Kennedys, Nancy Pelosi's daughter, Qanon Shaman.
  7. FWIW - The discussion is: Biden won, Trump lied, MAGA violently stormed congress in response to Trump's lies. I stick to that truth. You talk about Hillary Clinton. It is a simple discussion, so it came to a conclusion long ago. The fact that I am on the left side of most political discussions doesn't mean I am subjective. Far from it. It only means I am correct and if you disagree, you are incorrect! Too many variables to avoid cheating in an absolute sense. Widespread means it did or potentially may have had an impact on results. That didn't happen. We all know that, even if Trump only needed 11,780 votes to declare Georgia free and fair. Sure, I skipped discussing Hillary. But only because she means nothing here. Now you only discuss her, so easy to see why you brought her up.
  8. Note to self: you get a free pass by declaring yourself an insurrectionist. Further, doesn't matter which government, for what purpose or whether every legal grievance has been rejected due to total lack of evidence. One insurrectionist is the same as the next!
  9. LOL I certainly didn't lie. Why are you talking about her? I am definitely objective. Just drop the what-about-isms! This is objective truth: Biden won fair and square, Trump lied continuously and the result was a violent insurrection. It is that simple.
  10. I am interested in seeing the convictions. Actually, I see 53 convictions. They are split amongst the parties, none are impactful.
  11. 1. Not when that person continues to mischaracterize or euphemize the poor behavior of Trump. 2. No, his presidency has unresolved issues. 3. Look in the mirror and ask yourself this question. I am objective. Ordinarily, I'd agree that people on both side of the political aisle do the exact same thing. However, Trump's behavior is unprecedented. You can give me literally any affadavit to sign condemning Hillary or Bill Clinton's real or imagined actions and I will sign it. I do not care about them.
  12. As you are aware, she had nothing to do with January 6. Highly disingenuous to compare her comments with the unhinged actions of a sitting president. I'm surprised someone was willing to interview her, as she was very far out of the public eye by 2020.
  13. She didn't have much time to do so. She conceded that election on Wednesday, Nov. 8th. Her concession speech mentioned nothing about fraud. It is Trump's past and continuing mental illness that dragged the country through January 6th and beyond. It seems you are almost ready to accept that irrefutable fact, but just can't quite be honest with yourself. The truth shall set you free. Not sure of which Jan. 6th narrative you are referring to. There is truth, there are lies and there are damn lies. The cold, hard irrefutable facts are: The country elected Joe Biden to be POTUS, fair and square. Trump couldn't accept that and manufactured a long string of baseless lies to tell his followers. That continued for nearly 2 months. His followers believed his lies and tried to subvert the election by violently storming the Capitol building to prevent the certification of the election.
  14. Yikes. That doesn't support the narrative at all.
  15. I didn't see the legislators. Where were they when this video was shot?
  16. Trump's crack team was aware of all those allegations. They couldn't demonstrate any wrong doing. Still haven't been able to do so after 2 1/2 years. In fact, the only ones who tried to subvert the election were the insurrectionists and the people working for Trump. Tucker Carlson's video only demonstrates how desperate people are to follow their narrative. The insurrectionists violently smashed through police lines and buildings to interrupt the official proceedings of Congress. That is irrefutable.
  17. No, no, no and no since the result of the investigations into those claims and every other one were all the same.
  18. I was going to mention Clayton Ream. He earned a lot of ink for his academic work.
  19. Hillary's election lies? Her concession speech was less than a week after the election. Trump absolutely was the catalyst for the violent insurrection on Jan 6. Not necessarily for what he said that day, but it certainly wouldn't have happened absent him screaming countless and baseless lies for the months after the election.
  20. Awesome video! Posted a second time so we can try to improve our estimate of how stupid these people are. Imagine being so stupid you believe the self serving lies of Trump - no evidence required! Then double down on that and throw your life away for it. Anybody on this board still willing to say they believe his election lies? Would you throw your life away for it?
  21. People are offered their narratives, often with no supporting evidence. Once they've accepted the narrative, no amount of evidence or lack thereof will change their minds.
  22. No one truly believes a direct member of this committee should be doing the actual leg work in the investigation.
