I am saying it both honestly and tongue in cheek. I felt the pain when I posted things which were less interesting and so maybe deserved the beating I got. So I admire his tenacity to power through, but also appreciate the colorful comments and alternative ways of framing the original idea which are just other ways of engaging on the topic.
I got so excited by the broader news that I totally missed that detail about 125. That is very surprising to me! He was not a small 133. I wondered what the heck happened to him last year. I thought he had two year of eligibility remaining.
I wondered if he could follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Caleb Smith who became an AA after transfering from App State to Nebraska. But that would mean Antrell Taylor staying at 165 instead of going back down to 157 with Robb having graduated.
Curious how the lineup shakes out for @ILLINIWrestlingBlog and his squad. Here's a guess from me
125: Ruzic
133: Byrd
141: Attasauov
149: Pucino
157: Webster
165: MiniBraun
174: Ruth
184: Connell
197: MegaBraun
285: Luffman

My cousin went to Drexel Hill Community College for two years, getting a 4.0 while he was there and paying minimal tuition and living at home. He then transferred to Temple for the final two years - and he has a Temple degree - even though he only needed to be there and pay that level of tuition for two years. It was a pretty crafty plan even if not the "sexiest" as perceived by peers and the neighborhood parents
If Brock Delsignore ends up announcing a transfer to Purdue before vanishing from the wrestling world all together, he would be the third guy to do so in consecutive years at 174/184 going from NC State to Purdue after Jacob Null and Joey Milano preceded him.

Espalin left the academy after his second year. It's not a dumb question to me, because I asked the same to people on this board with regard to Evan Tallmadge. It appears that it is easier to transfer out within the first two years - otherwise you would owe something back to the school.
