  1. Ethan Oakley earns a victory for the desperate mountaineer fans. Last match here: Kaden Keiser RS Freshman vs Ryan Jack
  2. Trephan pins Sartorio. 31-0
  3. Trent Hidlay techs Hunter Adams. 25-0 Wolfpack with four matches remaining
  4. stream goes dead but I guess Fishback pinned him
  5. Fishback vs Tomas Brooker
  6. A frantic Faison earns a takedown in the third to win the match 6-3
  7. good action at the end of the third - each guy almost had a TD. we go to OT
  8. Uliano allowed to escape and we have 1-0 and riding time. The fiery Faison limp arms into a takedown and lets Uliano up quickly. 3-2 with 35 seconds left but a riding time point would bring us to OT
  9. Uliano gets double boots in and begins to administer some pain to the feckless Faison, floundering on the resilite and giving up stalling calls.
  10. Uliano vs Faison a snoozefest so far. 0-0 2nd period starts with Faison on bottom
  11. Kovacs with a nice comeback - Miller was so close to an escape and seem to be focusing on a reversal, didn't get the escape and lost the match. Needed to be smarter.
  12. Will Miller down from 174 faces off against AJ Kovacs - who starts as Matt Singleton takes a redshirt. Miller with an early takedown, but can't hold Kovacs down for very long and gives up a quick escape. 3-1 going into the second
  13. 13-6. Ed Scott wins, but Askey shows something with a late takedown and almost another.
  14. Arrington picks up the pace in the third and narrowly misses a tech fall. Major decision and four points for the Wolfpack to start the dual as we head into 157. Tommy Askey vs Ed Scott
  15. Bond gives up a reversal and a stall call in the second. 5-0 Arrington with the riding time point locked up going into the third period.
  16. quick takedown by Arrington, and some good work on top, but the 7th year senior in Bond avoids giving up any backpoints. 3-0 going into the second with Arrington on bottom
  17. starting at 149: Cody Bond vs Jackson Arrington
  18. I thought we'd see true freshman Jeremiah Price at 141, but it looks like its Kaden Keiser dropped down from 149
  19. I was supposed to be going to this dual with the fam, but it was decided my daughter couldn't miss another soccer game
  20. Is it fair to assume all of the Big Ten schools offer 9.9? Even Northwestern?
  21. This is information I have been meaning to get a better hold of - and then maintain somewhere. I hear all sorts of things about the different institutions. From hearsay: Duke and the Ivys do not give athletic scholarships per se, but tend to be quite generous on financial aid packages if you are academically qualified to attend. My understanding is that both Binghamton and Cal State Bakersfield have limited scholarship opportunities, but have very attractive tuition relative to other schools if you attend from instate. Stanford had been discussed recently here in going from 5 (?) to 9.9. I wonder if this data is tracked anywhere or if it would be a detective exercise.
  22. Maryland wins 30-7. 125 with Maida over Brown was the big upset. In an offseason interview Clemson mentioned that Brown had some issues to work through regarding weight discipline which may or may not have been a factor today.
  23. Will Jarrell has put on a ton of weight and is now a bona-fide heavy. He had a cradle locked up on Nevills which seemed to awaken the former Penn State football player from hibernation but only briefly. 6-2 by the bear is the final score.
