  1. Crookham is a bit like Lewan. In the sense of good defense and holds center well. Knows how to win a close match with shrewd strategy. I would love if he would open up a bit more because that's more fun to watch but he's a winner
  2. I had already considered Crookham to be at a similar level (Mid podium) to Latona who defeated Arujau regular season last year. I would bet heavily that Vito will win the next several rematches but I will be rooting for Crookham anyway
  3. Who is this Charlie Farmer cat? Had never heard of him but he did well this weekend
  4. Thanks for asking the question which I had also wondered. I wonder if we will get any duals or tournaments streamed? I'd love to watch that and especially with my daughter
  5. @nhs67 has always been the board's proudest Ulrey believer
  6. Now that would be a hell of a Halloween costume (ghost-suriano)
  7. I also wouldn't mind a lineup in which Andonian bumped to 165 (against a smaller 165 like White) while giving Hipolito a couple matches here and there.
  8. 125: Eddie Ventresca (who is dealing with a fairly significant, but undisclosed injury), vs Dean Peterson 133: Sam Latona vs Dylan Shawver 141: Hunter Mason or Mac Church vs Mitch Moore 149: Caleb Henson vs Jacob Butler 157: Bryce Andonian vs Andrew Clark 165: Connor Brady vs Tony White 174: Mekhi Lewis vs Jackson Turley 184: Sam Fisher vs Brian Soldano 197: Andy Smith vs Jon Poznanski 285: Hunter Catka vs Yaraslau Slavikouski
  9. Almost too many to keep track of now. Wrestlestat compiles an ongoing list: https://www.wrestlestat.com/d1/recentupsets Tuesday mornings in the beginning of the season are exciting for me, because I am curious to see WrestleStat's updated rankings after accounting for a weekend of activity. By the end of the season it always seems fairly accurate, but a good amount of movement in early weeks.
  10. I thought Mulvaney might be able to keep it loser with Olejnik, but he is just a true freshman I guess
  11. Is Alvarez injured or cant crack the lineup?
  12. Been on a bachelor party this weekend (for which I am far too old) so just catching up on matches now. This was a great dual. 125 was a huge surprise to me
  13. Hmmm I'll work on it but may need to be extra creative to form a full team
  14. I totally overlooked this one lol. Presumably it's Italian for compost
  15. Good God- what were those boys eating this summer
  16. I had two campus visits: Scranton and Navy. The latter I would have been a walk on room guy. I ended up choosing a school that didn't have a program and wrestled for their club team before having several shoulder surgeries.
  17. If he does, I think we can all agree that it's better to burn out than to fade away. My my hey hey
  18. I expect Welsh to be a 4 time AA fwiw
  19. 29.99 per month. Not sure when iy started
  20. I have a month to month through wrestling
  21. Welsh could beat Lewis
  22. Does Negron look a lot different physically? I can't imagine him at 184
  23. He was also a really nice kid and about as humble as you can imagine for someone with his talent.
  24. The following of my youth teammates wrestled D1 in college (probably missing a few and apologies for that): Jon Trenge, Lehigh Derek Jenkins, Rider Sean Jenkins, Rider Mike Miller, Rider Paul Velekei, Penn Christian Franco, Penn Mike Heist, Pittsburgh Kurt Pryor, West Point Bobby Shaw, UNC Andrew Donofrio, Virginia Tech Matt McConnell, Franklin & Marshall Zach Plerhoples, Edinboro
