  1. Bergey vs White getting good. Rutgers are head and shoulders above Princeton right now as a team
  2. I think it pretty much is guaranteed haha. Sounds like a good bet

  4. if you don't mind sharing - which team did you beat?
  5. Good question. I don't know how many teams from other divisions would be of a similar caliber to the bottom rung of division one. If wrestlestat dual rankings are a guide, Gannon is the 18th ranked dual team in D2. Kent State is 69th in D1
  6. "The price of a calm facade is ofttimes a heavy boot on the neck of the chaos within fighting to break free."
  7. D2 Gannon defeated Kent State today in a dual with a pin at heavyweight:
  8. He speaks about it here after finishing his college career
  9. Even then, Penn State expects to win by more than double. In fact many are saying that if Penn State does not at least have double the points of the second place team, it will be considered a major disappointment, and Cael could be on the hot seat.
  10. Thanks for covering my newfound responsibilities as I am currently up to me ears in bullshit
  11. My favorite is when that guy tells Miseur la Pedite that he has the finest milk in France
  12. Remove a row or two of seats and hike ticket prices to make up the difference
  13. I thought I'd sneak that by you guys
  14. I haven't seen many over the "overly explaining" type people end up in positions of leadership. Mostly because it's often a poor strategic tactic if you're viewing a debate as a win/lose.
  15. While true in theory, I can also envisage a world in which he has done it nicely thousand times before and been ignored. Who knows. That's how most business world works though
  16. I think when you provide rankings, you are giving a blunt, non-reactive message. When a person doesn't like the message, they may want to respond in kind. I agree Kozak was most noble, followed by Borelli, with Pyles as a distant last
  17. Whining as a pejorative for calling out what he perceived to be as an injustice against his wrestler and his program. It's not as bad as it sounds and the world presents these situations to all of us
  18. Ventresca and Brown were the two big ones. The former, an AA.
  19. I'm not a natural born whiner and it makes me uncomfortable, but i understand it's value
  20. I think it was just what i said: dropping so many spots (18)in the rankings while remaining undefeated.
  21. I think there is probably a middle ground that made more sense in reality. Dropping 18 spots while remaining undefeated is odd. Dropping some other moderate amount can be explained away by the Ventresca/Brown response which is fair to me.
  22. Absolutely- not for him- but for his wrestler
  23. Why? The rankings are public.
  24. I think he spends plenty of time evaluating those wrestlers, but not in a way on which he would be emphasizing where they stand in an objective historically based ranking
  25. As a lower profile school that is overlooked even in the best of times, I'd argue the coach is benefiting the team by being more vocal and visible. Again, I thought the discourse between he and Kozak was completely above board.
