    You might be right, I just can’t put Nebraska “far” ahead of a Va Tech team that will have Eddie, Seidel, Bo, Henson, etc. personally think if Williams ends up back at Iowa they’ll be right there as well (not so much if Crookham can’t go).

    Kueter gets more than a roster filled with guys like VRob, Minto, and now Ech? I guess it’s possible if Keuter is still double dipping football with wrestling, but cmon now!

    Nebraska is a really good team. Will be a big notch below PSU and a small notch below Ok St, but right there with Va Tech, Iowa, Stanford, etc.

    sorry, no, not a really good chance. probably a very, very outside chance of 10 AA. lol, OSU will be better than them at basically every weight aside from what, 74? And 125/285 will be toss up matches.

    Still not the #2 team. OSU beats them. and “good chance” at 10 AA’s? Maybe “a chance” but unlikely.

    Solid get for Rutgers, likely not an immediate AA threat but at least R16 type and surely will be a 3 time NQ for them with a shot at AA down the road.

    It isn’t, but he will still get a solid pay day and I would be surprised if it’s for 2 years.

    Willie and Basch made a great point in the last few weeks. What up and coming assistant or world teamer would risk joining Iowa staff without any contingencies? Say, if Tom was gone in a year or two and said assistant had to start fresh looking for another gig. They’d maybe be interested if there was a clause saying they could be head coach.

    Nebraska does not have the money to pay Shapiro for a redshirt year, they could get him to go right away though.

    Unfortunately just the way it goes in all sports nowadays. Luckily for Herrera he got great training in while getting bigger/stronger. I know he had a bum knee at some point this year but this year off will pay dividends for him and whoever gets him.

    I think so. Merrill beat him 10-1 in an open earlier this year.

    Iowa State’s Daniel Herrera in the portal. Could be a solid pick up for somebody.
