That's an intelligent response. Penn State has more than 20 untouchable wrestlers on the roster that would never be cut. Lilledahl, Desmond, Davis, Nagao, Ono, Blaze, Perry, Cunningham, Van Ness, Kasak, Duke, Sealey, Mesenbrink, Haines, Henckel, Cunningham, Welsh, Barr, Mirasola, Cochran, Mirasola... are all safe.
-
Kennedy wouldn't make the roster unless he changed weight as Penn State has Haines, Henkel and Cunningham. Same with 133/141 Penn State has Davis, Nagao,(All Americans) Blaze (top recruit), Ono (world champ), Perry (getting no money) and Cunningham (Coaches kid). Ayala would but Bailey doesn't bump anyone off the roster. Whomever starts at 157 doesn't make Penn State's top 30. Endenne doesn't make it at 197 either though he might make the roster at heavyweight.

Most schools' wrestlers have July/August/September to heal/recover/train. A bunch of Penn State wrestlers will be making U20, U23 and World Teams. They'll use September/October/November to heal/recover/train. So Penn State sends a JV team? All that would do is prove to what everyone already knows. Some of Iowa's starters couldn't even make Penn State's roster with the roster cap.

Final X is going to be great to be a HWC fan. They only have to watch one weight and can go on about the rest of their day. Poor Ok State and NLWC fans are going to pay attention to a bunch of weights and spend hours watching. Final X wrestlers with college eligibility Jax Forrest 4 years Oklahoma State, Lillidahl 3 years, Duke 4 years, Mess 2 years, Haines 1 year, Barr 3 years Penn State.

Spencer Lee skipped 4 years of WADA testing by not wrestling freestyle. Roid monkey is balding and has bacne. No one refuted it so it has to be true. The only source of a federal bust is a known liar, vhs.
-
That's because there are websites where one can look at every state and local arrest in Ohio. When his name wasn't on there, the "it was federal" was made up.

Correct is important but if one has to watch it 20 times to make a decision, the call on the mat should stand. It really should be to correct clear and obvious errors. I am all for a brick costing a point if losing the challenge.
-
I get that but by the way this is written, if a headgear falls off and you slide it out of the way, you get an unsportsmanlike? That's about the only scenario where I have seen a wrestler slide anything. Of course they may do away with headgear.
-
Not a fan of tossing or sliding equipment being a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Intent is the key there and I am struggling to see how sliiding something is unsportsmanlike.

Forrest has traveled to Oklahoma State's RTC for a while now. They train at Young Guns quite a bit, have outsiders come train at the Compound/McCourt. They trained at Iowa's RTC before the US Open. Bassett was training at NLWC quite a bit but that's tailed off since he committed. I think the real question is if these kids ever actually go to school

And yet there's only one person continually bringing up politics on a wrestling board....

Speed fades faster than strength and the brain fades the slowest of all. It's why we see NFL Olinemen and pocket passer QBs play to a much older age.

A sophomore who is out of U17 eligibility. Jayden James is a grade older and a year younger for example. Miller lost, Bassett lost, Mocco lost...and we're to the "questioning the officiating" page in your program for those following along. -

All those things were said on this board. -

The cope is getting more and more exaggerated. Bassett "looked good" losing, Mocco had takedowns while getting horsed around despite a weight advantage... even a future potential recruit in Miller "won" by not getting destroyed by Duke. The only thing all three shared was losing. -

I have no horse in the race either but all freestyle pushouts are not the same. Some leg in the air, walk 'em out for a free point would be pulled back to center in folk, some are under Hook sumo pushouts. -
From my understanding, Nolf isn't qualified for WTT.

I realize they are used to it, but do you really think Iowa fans should be "damn happy" with losing? -
There's a lot of countries at Worlds that wouldn't place in the top 50 in the stronger countries.
-
That number will drop substantially at the WTT as one has to qualify for that event. Top end wrestlers didn't break a sweat until the quarters or semis in most cases.
