    Nelson Brands enters the lineup. Elbow was wrapped up. Didn't do a whole ton (neither did the opponent), but Brands seemed gas by the 3rd. I reckon he hasn't been on the mats a ton lately given the rumors of an off season injury

    I would be elated if Spencer Lee were to win the Hodge but it wouldn't sit well with me if he did so while wrestling less than 10 matches. The Hodge is supposed to be a seasonal award. I know that's not how the committee will vote, but I sure wish they would abide by the criteria, or change it officially

    I hear ya but isn't he dealing with a savage weightcut? He might just physically be incapable of keeping an aggressive pace for the full match. For now

    Ok I can ride with that. What does a grade C mean then? In my mind, a grade of C for bottom (as an example) means that the wrestler struggles with getting away even against middle of the road competitors. I think I would switch RBY, Lee and Mason bottom wrestling to B with that in mind

    Idk how you can give all these folks a grade of A for top wrestling when hardly any of them score any points from that position.

    Really? I'm not sure anyone else scores 3 takedowns on Warner. You must have a very high opinion of Elam

    Really was hoping Warner had turned the corner. Giving up 2 takedowns is no bueno. Edit: holy moly. I should have some patience

    I'm not sure if Kerk is a true underdog here. Sure, Cass is undefeated against him but their last match was going all Kerk's way outside of the final seconds of the 3rd period (when Kerk gave up an untimely reversal) and the first 20 seconds of sudden victory. Still, as a hawk fan, I'm picking Cass. I'm a little nervous though. Should be a good match.

    Im not sure if Starocci will have the same level of dominance but great point nonetheless. If RBY beats Fix in the finals while maintaining a comparable bonus point rate to the other contenders, it's hard to see how he doesn't win the Hodge
