  1. Van Ness is reportedly out for the year due to injury. He was a strong finalist pick. PSU might only win by 30 now?
  2. Given his injury history I am pleasantly surprised to hear he is wrestling so soon again. He's spent more time rehabbing than wrestling the last couple of years. If he's feeling healthy, aybe he wants more matches in
  3. Does Lee-Megaludis II look different this time around?
  4. No not quite that extreme. I thought he would get fat and slow and would get crunched underneath when shooting. Instead, I think he might be my favorite heavyweight
  5. You might be right. Is it possible that Ramos losing actually makes 125 deeper than it appears? Perhaps Ramos isn't a good early season wrestler? He had some questionable losses early last season too. Heck, he got majored by DeAug at big ten's. Maybe he's just inconsistent and had the tourney of a lifetime last march
  6. I thought he would get fat and unathletic. Instead, he put on good weight and seems to be wrestling better than ever
  7. no, really, I am curious. You got me interested and I'm going to watch it later once I finish drinking but can you help a feller out and give more details about why you brought it up
  8. No. Was it notable?
  9. what is the weakest weight class then? 184/125/157?
  10. Would be interesting to get some numbers on this but I think this sentiment is a little overblown. I don't follow the program assiduously, but I believe they have been hammered by injuries lately which could contribute to some of the top recruits having "down" performances. On the other hand, Mendez is looking like the favorite to win the title, as of this moment at least.
  11. I was wrong in calling him a no name
  12. I believe this time last year Levi took a really weird loss to some no name. Cardenas is no slouch. Shapiro very well might still end up in the finals by the time NCAAs roll around Or he could end up another Hamiti
  13. Stanford is doing a lot better since Coal left
  14. Too early in the season to start drawing conclusions but that was hard to watch. Left a bad taste in my mouth
  15. Voinovich took another shot! Almost scored
  16. Woah. Voinovich took a shot!
  17. Woods hasn't looked very sharp so far this season. Didn't take a real shot until the last 15 seconds
  18. Mark Hall brought the drip
  19. Ayala gets real sloppy in exchanges. I was hoping he'd be a finalist threat. Doesn't look like it.
  20. well, on one hand, that was a pretty uninspiring effort. On the other hand, Griffith has taken a loss every season since covid and has done pretty well at the last dance. Still, that is probably his worst loss ever
  21. Also, has it been discussed why no Fix? Sorry, I have been busy and haven't had a chance to read the other 68 CKLV threads (or even most of this one)
  22. Who is Ryder Downey?
  23. Haven't seen Vito compete since that one match. What's going on?
  24. I remember much was said about Sketchy Echy when the details came out. I just don't recall the exact details myself, other than it seemed like there was a universal and strongly negative response from the community? "Title IX is ripe for reform" would probably defend him though
  25. interesting. My knowledge around Sketchy Echy's troubles center around what he did to his wife. As far as I know, there is a whole lot more documented regarding AJ's other extracurriculars
