    Not quite. The guy I'm referring to, Ewers, transferred to Texas from OSU where he became the starting QB and later lost to OSU in the football semifinals. I can't remember what godawful amount of NIL money it took to get him to transfer to the Longhorns.

    I bet Branch would leap at the opportunity to jump even to B10 bottom-dwellers like Michigan State or Wisconsin at this point. Can you imagine spending 15 years in Wyoming?

    OSU had a scrub QB pulling down over a million a year in NIL money. That's a lot of money for a backup QB, OSU should've spent that money on their wrestling program, obviously.

    Minnesota is obviously quite good this year. They'd be average by B10 standards if not for Steveson coming back. They have several guys who will probably AA this year. I think they will finish higher than OSU at NCAAs.

    You have no sense of irony. I'm not pulling for him to fail, I'm stating it would be hilarious if all the hoopla building up for months was deflated in the least expected way possible.

    Is it really absurd to say? The kid has been has been tormenting college coaches for months. He may not be a narcissist, but it's certainly not absurd to speculate that he is one.

    Actually there was a SEC championship at one time in wrestling, so OU beating Mizzou wasn't the first "SEC championship". I think it was Pat Milkovich that was the wrestling coach at Auburn, or maybe it was his brother. Kentucky also had a team and LSU had a team as well. I'm not sure about the rest. That was back before D1 wrestling programs started collapsing thanks to title 9.

    I was in Houston during the winter storm when the wonderful "christian" Joel Osteen locked the doors on his mega-scam, sorry, I mean mega-church to people who'd been forced out of their homes because "we had the carpets cleaned". Well, that sounds like a good excuse to let people die of exposure: our carpets just got cleaned.
