  1. That 97 semi leaves us with just one question: Just how damn good is Ahmad Bazri :)?
  2. I don't think most Iranians think Yaz is the favourite to beat Azarpira. Will be interesting, though.
  3. Wrestled three times. Snyder won the first and Azarpira the last two.
  4. Azarpira could have won by more, but he was a bit scared of Tazudinov. For.good reason I suppose.
  5. I don't think people care. A lot of people want to leave Iran, lol We had a few guys start to wrestle for Qatar recently in greco
  6. Yes, shows how good Ono is.
  7. Amouzad will beat Biabani. Biabani was a good prospect back in the day, though. He won junior worlds in 2016 but never managed to translate it to the senior level. I think Kiyooka can be the first to go back to back at this weight, though.
  8. Damn.. add higuchi and Ono and Japan maybe wins a team title
  9. They did wrestle at asian champs. Japan was ahead and Sujeet got injured during the match.
  10. Kiyooka takes out Ibragimov. Amouzad in a war with Sujeet
  11. They initially didn't add the 2 for the TD. Then I think the exposure was 2 not not 4. Then UWW got a step out. So it was 2 + 2 + 1
  12. Amateur hour at UWW they forgot Kurbanovs two points
  13. Azarpira looks crap
  14. Kiyooka's lace looks so effortless
  15. The commentator said he was gassed when he showed up, which made me laugh
  16. This India - Aze match is ridiculous
  17. No, I didn't expect him to win. After seeing the weight up to the semis I knew he would lose by some distance. What I mean is before the tournament I thought 61 was a bunch of guys who, in the absence of Ono, could all beat each other and it would be a bunch of close matches. Instead it turned out that if they wrestled that bracket 10 times Uguev would win it all 10 times.
  18. He said it because Iranian fans were trolling him on social media in the lead up to worlds
  19. Where is that challenge lost guy from the olympics
  20. Yeah, not close. When they stood next to each other at the end for Uguev's hand to be raised Javan looked two weight classes bigger.
  21. Javan was weaker than I thought, but this whole weight did not play out the way I expected
  22. If Uguev can't make 57 they need to scrap the whole weight and just start at 60 or so.
  23. Uguev is so small.
  24. That's the problem with that terrible style of wrestling that is popular in Iran, guys can waste time. I will have to go back and watch that one, though. I didn't think the time wasting was too bad but maybe i'm wrong. I expected a lot more of Firouzpour. Ghasempour is fortunate. If Firouzpour got gold he would be in a tricky spot.
  25. Firouzpour didn't even know what hit him sitting on the edge of the mat shaking his head
