Future champs in the making

well, that was an interesting turn of events time for a J O B

i think 2-5 are interchangeable but don't have an issue with Vega @ 2

think we need to Add VT to that list

agreed

a Mid to lower team wont have the cash to entice his over inflated ego of himself zero chance Iowa goes after him a 2nd time

not disingenuous at all / my 1st sentence was this again speaks to what area of the country are we discussing ? Teacher Pay by State 2026 United States $66.4K 1.69% US Average California $101.1K Highest Mississippi $53.7K Lowest plus a coaching stipend/ far better option then being an asst for 35k life isn't easy and working for 35 a year is going to make it any easier for the few that make a sustainable living and the minority of that number who make substantial living from coaching hats off to you, niche job as I mentioned in my original post - my point is you stand a much better chance of earning living and being a coach then being a coach for a living

this again speak to what area of the country are we discussing ? while not many HS coaches make $35K / you have many HS teacher's making $100K to do what they went to college using their degree to teach coaching as a career is a niche field to say the least

there is so much to digest in this conversation / and agreed don't want to call out a program but depending on what state we are discussing living on sub 35,000 before taxes is tough to dam near impossible how does the $35 k offer match up to other non revenue earning sport's? at the end of the day college athletics is a business plan and simple whether they are worth it or not you cant offer an assistant coach 6 figures just so he/ she can obtain a better quality of life if you program is consistently in the red to begin with there are D1 head coaches who are barley scratching 100k mark in salary from the school

nailed it you are only worth what someone is willing to pay you I am not surprised that a ivy league grad was offered more in salary than a rd of 16 wrestler as you stated in a stacked 149 class next season

did his brother leave scared heart?

is that him in the black tank top ? lol

havent watched yet

I think you mean when he loses / young Austin DeSanto type antics will ensue
