So with some of the new adds. Here are the teams with the most in the portal 1. Cal Baptist - 17 (DUH) 2. Cornell - 8 (7 are grad transfers) 3. Iowa State, Oklahoma, & NC State - 7 6. Michigan State - 6 7. Rider & Campbell -5 9. LIU, Northern Colorado, Stanford, The Citadel, Virginia Tech, & Wisconsin - 4

I think that would depend on how this year goes.

I actually think Steed may have two more years. He could get a medical redshirt for his redshirt freshman year. He didn't wrestle after the Cougar Clash

I don't think Aeodon is going 197 lbs. next year. Even though he is going 92 kg at US Open. I have heard a rumor of one of the Stanford portal wrestling interested in Mizzou. But I am not going to hold my breath.

I heard from somebody that Michigan state only has three scholarships (which if they opted in, doesn't that mean everyone on roster has to be on scholarship.... so 10% scholarship for all). If that is so, they will never be able to compete.

If I had to guess. 125 - Mauger 133 - Walker/Moore (maybe) 141 - Hilton/Seltzer/Uhls/Roller/Moore 149- Mendoza 157- Gleason/Rath 165- Conway (I know Mizzou has Bambinelli & Heiser. But, I think this might be Conway's best weight) 174- Steed 184- Sinclair 197- Portal/Cole/Incoming Freshman Cooley 285- Stoner/Stillwell I almost wish Stoner could make 197. But he is a big 225/230 lbs. It would be a hard, hard cut. If Moore comes back Walker can get that Redshirt that has been pulled midseason the last two years. Mizzou has four 133/141 lbs. coming in next year in Zion Borge, Yandel Morales, Brady Collins, and Jason Hampton Plus two 197 lbs. in Aiden Cooley and Trey Craig. If they can find a 197 lbs. in the portal this could be a strong team.

I think I set the bar for the worst performance. Next year we should have the killdozer award for anyone under 3 AA's as I watched Joy, Brignola, Larkin, and Bouzakis all go out. I thought "Yep, I am the angel of death" Next year, I am going to have a drugged monkey make my picks couldn't do any worse.

I also did that to specify they made the finals in the tournament. If they took 3rd in the tournament and lost the true 2nd. I would say they took third. But if they made the finals and then lost the true match I put "Lost true 2nd". I actually think there is a difference. I realize that it is splitting hairs. As far as Lopez who would be a better choice? That can match his resume?

When I say lost true 2nd I mean they made the finals and lost. Then had to wrestle a true 2nd. So as far as team scores. They earned 2nd place points. But had to do a wrestle off for the allocation. The MAC had 5 true 2nd matches and 4 of the five in the finals lost the true 2nd.

Parco did auto-qualify. What I was saying is Smith while he is in the ranking at 57. He has the most wins over the field (Parco, Church, and Earnest). He also beat someone that Kesler lost to and Kesler only had one win over the field that Smith also beat. Smith was in the finals and then lost the True 2nd match to Woodcock. So yes he took 3rd. Which was a placement adjacent to auto qualifier. Their records are almost identical (Smith: 16-14, Keslar: 14-12) I would like to see the reasoning.
