Kysion Garcia would be in that conversation as well
-
He is an assistant at Lock
-
I agree that Van Ness will get 5 or 6 against Griffin. Griffin just lost to HS Senior and PSU commit Perry. Griffin and SVN wrestled in HS and SVN pinned him IIRC
-
Williams has already competed at 149 this semester in the Drury Open. I would guess he is the 149lb starter second semester but who knows
-
Yeah I know last year Pitzer from Pitt would have gotten surgery and taken a MRS but it was too late in the season to qualify to he wrestled and delayed the surgery till after Nationals.

I also think Stanford will keep Valencia and Cardenas in RS and run it back next year with this lineup (Or something close): 125: Provo 133: Knox 141: Valencia 149: Consiglio/Parco 157: Cardenas 165: Garvin 174: Norman 184: Montiero 197: Hand-Lindemyer/Posada 285: Posada? 197 and 285 could be hard to figure out. Depends what weight Posada sees himself out and how much he weighs going into the summer
-
I think he might just not be a 133

I have hear nothing about him decommitting but I know Pitt were in very heavily on both him and Maddox Shaw before they committed to tOSU. However if he does reopen I think Pitt would be underdogs to the Big10 schools after him. Would fit a weight are of need however -
Is Valencia expected to start over Miranda? He is definitely the best option for Stanford but I could see them wanting to have him take a full redshirt year
-

Stanich ended up not competing in the Lehigh Wrestle Offs. Any knowledge anyone has on that?
-
He has been practicing, I have no idea at what level and if he is realistic to be a D1 starter again
-
I can definitely see Bouzakis losing the spot to Davino but anyone that uses freestyle as a reason for him being inconsistent isn't paying attention. He has been a dominant domestic freestyle force at tOSU and even back to HS
-
Yeah if NCAA switched the National Tournament to Freestyle Bouzakis would be the favorite for the 133lb title IMO

Penn State vs Cornell---why no home duals?
wrestlingfan22 replied to Former158's topic in College Wrestling
guessing likely starters 125: LL vs Greggy D 133: Davis vs Ungar 141: Beau vs Cornella 149: SVN vs Fernandez 157: Kasak vs Shapiro 165: MM vs Ramirez (if second sem) 174: Levi vs Ruiz 184: Starocci vs Foca (Second Sem) 197: Barr vs Dellagatta 285: Kerk vs Davis 157 is the real one to watch. 184 could be fun also. Obviously not happening this year but could see those at NCAAs
