  1. 7, 8, 9, and 10 seeds at 197 go down! Two of the 23, 24, 25 and 26 seeds will make 197 QTs
  2. Came here to say the same thing. He went trap arm in the defensive waterfall to an inside trip/chinwhip thing? Unreal
  3. Self Explanatory: My best guess: 20 Seed Braunagel at 174 and 3 Seed AJF at 197
  4. Looking for everyone to give their picks for round 1: What Upsets (Difference of 10 seeds or more) do you think we could see round 1? I'll give the ones I put in my bracket 125: None 133: 25 Phipps over 8 Davis, 26 Orine over 7 Bouzakis 141: None 149: None 157: 22 Scott over 11 Bianchi 165: None 174: 23 Gaitan over 10 Cramer, 27 Queen over 6 Cassella 184: 26 Rogotzke over 7 Dean 197: None 285: None There will almost assuredly be more upsets than this and plenty of unexpected ones, what day 1 matchups do people have circled as this possibility? Can also be ones that are less than a 10 seed difference
  5. 125: Moran (18) 133: Wells (22) 141: Saunders (20) 149: Abas (17) 157: Teemer (18) 165: Hamilton (25) 174: Braunagel (20) 184: Rogotzke (26) 197: Bechtold (18) 285: Andrews (17)
  6. Endene made a u23 world team (in a weak bracket) and beat Stemmet from Stanford who is the 17 seed this year. So I would expect him to win a few matches at NCAAs but with how stacked 197 is this year I think he would be draw dependent to AA
  7. Beard might not want to see Little though in the 5-12 (lost 10-3 to him at NCAAs last year)
  8. Illinois is getting it done
  9. I really doubt Jordan Williams or McNeil will be seeded anywhere at 141
  10. Waterman takes out Berginic who allocated the only spot for EIWAs at 133
  11. Anyone else notice he seemed to suggest that he has two more years of eligibility after this one? He said he wants to be 2025, 2026 and 2027 national champ.
  12. Dylan Evans at 157 is as fundamental as it gets and has a win over Hip from VT. With the right draw he can make some noise and he is someone that most guys won't want to see
  13. Kelvin Griffin from Lehigh uses it for Turns and Falls (leads the nation IIRC)
  14. I don't have concrete proof or the best memory of it but there were rumors of Knox getting into a fight at ETR his freshman year. I think he is going to be alright but it is a cause for concern that this incident happened and those past rumors exist also.
  15. Eddie V clinches it for VT
  16. If NCST wins out they win the dual. If VT picks up 1 win they likely seal it
  17. I agree. Starocci thinks his worst case for a match is 2-0 win where he gets out easy on the bottom and rides out on top (See Starocci v. Lewis 2 at the All-Star Match). Add in how he never seems threatened and you have a force
  18. Of his two career losses that is how one of them happened (Washington)
  19. He may not be done completely, I could see him doing some freestyle still (maybe as an exhibition only or he tries for a WTT after healing up more)
  20. I will wait till after Pac-12s to make a prediction but his tendency to wrestle anyone decent close makes him a candidate for a blood-round elimination if he is not at his true freshman form.
  21. Stickenberger lost to Moore at 125 in November.
  22. I don't understand what leverage he had but very impressive.
  23. Minnesota needs to win 3 of the next 5 to have a shot
