  1. Whoever rides the pine between Walrath, Gunderson, and Runyon
  2. Broken hand IIRC
  3. Sidun to PSU was always my assumption, but Pitt went from having E.Brown locked up and a chance at Sidun to Brown decommitting and Sidun committing to PSU. Just a brutal week in terms of the chances of making the jump to top of ACC, especially when you consider what happened in Blacksburg
  4. He always wore the concussion headgear in HS, not sure if that was a factor though
  5. Carter Neves, who transferred from tOSU to Chattanooga seemingly seems to have announced his retirement on IG
  6. Narikuni is likely the best 70kg, he may be the best 74kg but he has never competed that heavy, his world title is at 70kg.
  7. Elijah Brown decommitted from Pitt. #32 on Willie's last board, #1 215 in the Country. Big loss
  8. It is a long story, but the short version is that the core was all District 1. When they were young, Coach Hontz recruited them together, and they made Faith the place they would go, and it snowballed with other guys joining/moving in. Then, since you had all these elite guys training together in a great room with a great staff, they all kept jumping levels and hit HS in the same grouping of years.
  9. Music and Vielma to Stanford, more of these dominoes are falling. Two PA guys committing after the same visit, funny enough, I would have predicted Music to Pitt and Vielma to WVU based on family/location connections, but neither school should be too upset as academics and weather are not comparable between those programs and Stanford
  10. Last year's Faith team was stronger than last year's McCourt team, and they may be better than McCourt again this season. For the criteria of most D1: Last year's Faith team had 2025 Botero (Michigan) 2025 Stein (Penn) 2025 Hontz (Hofstra) 2026 Waters (OSU) 2026 Weidemoyer (Lehigh) 2026 Singer (Lehigh) 2026 M. Wagner (Little Rock) 2026 S. Wagner (Little Rock) 2026 Effendian (Princeton) AND 2027 J. Bachmann #2 Recruit in his class 2027 N. Singer, who is a top 30 recruit 2028 F. Bachmann #1 Recruit in his class That is 12 D1 guys with the potential for more if there is any late bloomers. On that note, the team from the year before had all of those guys but Freddy Bachmann (so 11) AND Cody Wagner (Little Rock) Arment Waltenbaugh (Air Force) Kole Davidheiser (Hofstra) plus Clayton Waltenbaugh who very well could be D1 and an unrostered due to weird transfer situation Tyler DeKraker who is a Minnesota committ. That is 14-16 D1 guys at one HS
  11. I agree I just know how often plans change for guys/teams
  12. Sotelo will be the 125 for sure, and Botero made 125 for certs. 133 may still be Ragusin coming down or committee
  13. With Ragusin potentially going 141, Lemley weighed between 149-157 at weight certs so maybe he wants to RS then move up after Lachlan's gone? I saw Sement weighed under 141 at certs (won states at 145 last year), if he can make 133 for a year, I could see him going 133 and Ragusin going 141
  14. Yes. He is a small guy, I expect a career 125
  15. Botero will not have an issue holding 133 long term
  16. I've seen rumors of Land 33 and Farber moving up to 41, but I'm not sure if that is still a possibility
  17. Hilton could get bigger, but he weighed between 141 and 149 for weight certs this week as a true freshman
  18. On that topic, Michigan has in that 133-157 range: Mendoza, Peterson, Wolbert, Sement, Hilton, and Cosby across the classes of 25/26
  19. Han is insane. He only gave up 7 points because he kept putting himself on bottom going for throws. Would have loved to see him against Lee
  20. Yea they add their world ranking even though the ranking is based on a crappy system
  21. Cool story about the Kazak, he had apparently quit wrestling and moved to Texas to work manual labor when he met RBY, who convinced him to get back on the mat and now he is a world medalist
  22. Jax goes down 10-8, the refs and the challenges really slowed that one down, it had some great exchanges other than that
