I've seen rumors of Land 33 and Farber moving up to 41, but I'm not sure if that is still a possibility

On that topic, Michigan has in that 133-157 range: Mendoza, Peterson, Wolbert, Sement, Hilton, and Cosby across the classes of 25/26 -
Han is insane. He only gave up 7 points because he kept putting himself on bottom going for throws. Would have loved to see him against Lee
-
Yea they add their world ranking even though the ranking is based on a crappy system
-
Cool story about the Kazak, he had apparently quit wrestling and moved to Texas to work manual labor when he met RBY, who convinced him to get back on the mat and now he is a world medalist
-
Jax goes down 10-8, the refs and the challenges really slowed that one down, it had some great exchanges other than that
-
? He is 23
-
Hidlay is a monster he is bringing Gold home
-
Haines rematch vs Greece in the Finals
-
That was the craziest 30 seconds of wrestling oh my god two insane comebacks
-
and RBY, USA-USA matchup soon
-
What a headlock oh my god

57: Lee has the toughest side of the bracket, but he's the best guy in the bracket, period. 61: Jax has to beat Suda, good chance to get pulled back into repechage if he gets beat by him 65: Woods likely goes down to Amouzad, but he should get pulled back in 70: Duke has reigning world champ match 2, and Gomez is on that side also, but I would anticipate Duke getting into repechage if he can't get by Kaiponov 74: Carr has a brutal draw. Has to beat Valiev and Sidakov to make finals, if he loses to Valiev he needs him to then beat Sidakov to get pulled back in, then would have to beat Sidakov. I think Carr is good enough to medal but not with this draw. 79: Levi should get pulled back into repechage after Usmanov, not the easiest quad with the Georgian in there as well but not terrible 86: Zahid's isn't too bad, he will be guaranteed a medal match, but Kadiev or Ghas in the semis is rough (and the loser in a potential bronze match) 92: Hidlay will have a tough semi against Kurugliev but he could also see Nurmagomedov, both tough matches but he could win 97: Snyder should make the semi's where he would have a tough but winnable Yoshida or Matcharashvili 125: Wyatt has a good shot to make the semis and take a shot at Zare, but it won't be a pushover at all. I will try to make weight-by-weight predictions later but looking at this, it is not too bad at all. It is never going to be easy at worlds and even though some of our newer guys (Jax, Woods, Duke, Haines) have early tough matches, they all have a reasonable shot at getting pulled back in.

Lee would get the North Korean after Harutyunyan
-
Yea I am assuming they have Catrabone at 157 where he did not have that many matches so he's not ranked? Or they are waiting for the 157/165 situation to sort itself out?
-
133: Blaze 4 He might be the only guy I would rank off rip. (because you can only rank one of Duke/Kasak and Dee has no results to gauge with, on ability, he would be top 5) Other than Mendoza, I don't know of any other big name freshman who are projected to be starting this year
-
That makes sense, and I understand that freestyle doesn't count. However, Joy has no wins (although the quantity is impressive) over anyone in the top 20, so his ranking at 10 (even though his ability could warrant it) doesn't seem entirely logical to me based on the system they seemingly are employing
-
Pretty standard. The one that jumps out to me is Kade Brown being #18 at 149. He has a win from last year over #12 Clark and one from this summer over #10 Joy (Freestyle). His only loss to a guy still in college is #5 Paniro (other losses last year were to senior AAs). I am not saying he should be ranked top 10, but I am just curious about the thought process behind that, since these seem to be primarily results-based

I understand what you are saying about Pitt's campus, but I feel as if it is a lot less spread out than some other schools I have visited (PSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, WVU, to name a few), and acreage-wise, it is a small campus -

2027 Big Boarders

I agree with what you say about proximity, but I also understand how important the connection to family/friends/community is for so many kids. Also, some people are just really fond of specific areas. I think your point about Sidun makes a lot of sense, if he sees himself as a four-year 125 (which I have heard he does) Iowa and PSU both have guys at that weight who if they don't move up would make it hard for Sidun to be locked in at 125, and if he doesn't want to RS that would make it even harder at those big schools -

I am not getting my hopes up yet, but if Pitt is going to get a top 5 PFP guy anytime soon, he would be the one. -

Horwath always beat Davis in HS, but had a bad RS year and then didn't compete. If he can get to anywhere near his HS potential, that is a good get for ISU -

Pitt with a run of 2027 Commits in the last few days: Caige Horak from Ohio, Hunter Snyder from PA, and Mason Horwat from PA. Some other bigger-name recruits they have had on visits are Sidun, Rothermal, Music, and B. Brown. All four of these guys are ones I expect Pitt to be after heavily, and I would put them as slight favorites for Music and Brown (although Brown is in the same weight range as Horak/Snyder and Pitt already has Elijah Brown in 26
