    Has to be injury. Was one of their biggest pickup's and both parties were very happy with move. All it takes is one visit to the Doctor and boom it is over! Being from the Carolinas we were in TN a lot. I know this is a major hit for them. They passed on several good HWT's after they got Neves! Or it is possible he was losing and wasn't gonna be a backup again. I know he moved there to be the starter only.

    I will go ahead and say it. Jax beating him is not what we thought it was. Great win along with the wins to get to the finals. But now looking at it not really an upset against a guy in this condition.

    This maybe one if not my favorite who's #1. Looking forward to that HWT match in folkstyle! Why is Merrill not at Super 32? I see Mocco there. Mocco was at elite 8 and is in all of the top events!

    Imagine if he does a big commitment thing at Super 32 and then loses! Unlikely but dang!

    Very stupid. HS and the senior level have a weight class between 213-220. 197 to 285 is pretty insane spread. People have talked about trying to change but nothing ever happens. But I am not in favor of taking away a lighter weight so I bet it stays the same.

    You mean like cutting to 285. He is like 260 right but too big for a Snyder bump up right? Especially in Freestyle. Some people are talking about Snyder might go up in 2028. He looks like a perfect sized 213. Surely not big for that weight. Could this RAF match be the feel out for Snyder against Parris?

    This is a very interesting stat. Logic would say bring in a guy who cuts to 285lbs like Konrad or Coon? I looked at the senior level where it is mostly the opposite. The bigger guys rule it seems. Can't imagine Snyder trying this against Zare! I wonder why that is? Folk and Free different when it comes to Lt Heavies bumping up for the Heavyweight crown?

    I do see a little of what you guys mean. Not one ranked heavy in this years class of 2026 is committed to PSU. The very best ones Mocco, Ross and Merrill don't even have PSU as a possibility on their top college choices. Why is that? Top upper weight coaches Sanderson, Snyder and Varner are there-all Olympic Champs! Doesn't make any sense.

    OK still but has PSU really been weak at Heavyweight since Cael took over? Honest question. Weak compared to the PSU standard I guess.

    Kerk was a national champ. How the heck do you guys consider that struggling at heavyweight? Guess the standard at PSU is way high...geez!

    Question so all those kids that got cut by Kent State so late in the cycle can they still transfer even though the portal has long since closed?

    True but still. Because Kent State opted in to the new law that means a couple dozen of the current kids on the roster will be cut! Ouch! Just when you think your spot is safe!

    This is a unprecedented change. 17 new guys! And cut roster by 11. I bet those kids who were cut never saw it coming. Could you imagine all the work the new coaches had to do in order to accomplish this in such a short period of time! My guess is Kent State is going to be a little bit better than their 1-16 dual record and 13th at the MAC tourney!

    In Snyder's final I think the difference is who is wrestling better at this moment. Could go either way but Snyder has got to be favorite. Snyder's run since 2015 is now approaching legendary GOAT status. If he can hold his body together 3 more years he could surpass Bruce, JB and Smith!

    Zahid in his prime thru 28 probably. Snyder wayyy past his prime in 28. Hidley will go up. Most will probably bulk rather than face Zahid. I really can't believe I would say run from him to Snyder if your big enough.

    So this guy is Taz's training partner. He held is own against Zare. About 6 5 230-240. Easily could make 213 with those thin legs. But Taz is there. Amazing how training partners elevate your game! This guy better technically than Zare!

    Wow. But maybe my eye test is deceiving me. Zahid looks like clear favorite. But this result doesn't lie!

    I watched his matches. He doesn't look all that great. Zahid has been perfect!

    Good ole physical strength at the top tier of the senior level. Pushed him around. I knew Zahid would win this. He is in his absolute prime and is clicking in all other areas as well. So happy for him!
