He needed another dopamine rush, so he gonna do it all over again. FFS

Yes, I understand there are normal people like tou who’d rather not be there. But the number of frequent flyers, the people who get angry when the doctor tries to discharge them, the number of people who go to the ER to be admitted during major holidays so they can be around people and get attention is not only staggering, but very sad.

As a former RN, people LOVE hospitals. You’re waited on, you get meals, and most importantly you get IV narcotics. And that is why I am a former RN. The US health care system is an absolute joke.

AJ Ferrari on the market again?
Not creative name replied to Interviewed_at_Weehawken's topic in College Wrestling
at what point does AJ finally say maybe collegiate wrestling is not for me? and he moves on to other ventures? out of everything that has happened he still keeps trying to come back. would other athletes who fall into a similar situation be this persistent? -
If it isn’t life or death, why even have a challenge brick? Just let the officials do it all in real time. If there any missed calls the other wrestler just needs to suck it up then.
-
if the reviewers need to watch 20 times that is the fault of the reviewers, not the brick being thrown. the reviewers might need better training, brushing up on rules, etc to make it more efficient.
-
i don't think i agree with this. the point of a review is make sure a call was correct and somebody isn't screwed over. if the limit is set to 2 minutes this could defeat the purpose of making sure a call is correct. while long-ass review times can stink, it seems best to just deal with it.

Braeden Davis what will Sanderson do?
Not creative name replied to H82Lose's topic in College Wrestling
my assumption: because fraternities are associated with the school the security is present on school orders. i doubt the fraternities are all hiring personal guards to keep the peace. probably just a way to keep drunkin' fools from running amuck. -

i went to school nearly 20 years ago at a small ass DIII school and all our fraternity parties had security. i assume it is pretty common. -

bou-zee needs to scram. he obviously isn't reaching his potential with the bucks. a new environment and leadership could be the change he needs. -

He must really be not wanted. He commits to OSU, transfers to Iowa and then plummets to LIU and now Morgan state. the question is: how many schools will he transfer to? -

who else's opinion would it be? i mean, what else am i supposed to expect from the sich? he rearranges his life for PSU, but then when RW transfers in he immediately enters the portal. yes, i understand it could be because he felt stabbed in the back. but i also understand it could also be because he doesn't want to endure the daily grind with RW; i understand that can be tough. but like i said previously, not everybody is cut out to be the best. the fact RW purposely put himself in that uncomfortable position shows the type of character RW is. PSU picked up a good one. unfortunate for tOSU. -

Rocco purposely threw himself in the lion’s den, knowing he’ll come out a better man because of it. Rocco left because of poor coaching and knowing his potential won’t be reached. Ryder left because he feared he wouldn’t make the starting lineup. those two things are not equal. Not even remotely close. -

as you said, the dude made all these life changing decisions and went all in for PSU. but the moment there is some disturbance he shrivels up like a nut sack in cold weather and bolts out of town. turn some adversity into a positive! he no doubt is mentally weak and doesn't handle setbacks well. not everybody is cut out to be the best. -

all the more reason to hold his ground. calling it now: he never wins a title because he obviously can't handle adversity. -

100% for sure. but now is a great time to show everybody what kind of person you are. You can fold like a cheap Chinese suit or you step up to the challenge as inspirational music plays and you let everybody know you ain’t gonna be pushed around. the schools looking to pick him up should be asking themselves if he has what it takes. -
What if I told you, that Carson Kharchla…
Not creative name replied to 1032004's topic in College Wrestling
here are my thoughts on the whole sich: tom ryan sees a nationally ranked and former AA stud in CK. RW has a redshirt to burn. so why force CK out? i felt like RW got a god draw last year. there is a chance he doesn't even AA if the bracket was actually set up correctly. but because of luck, he comes out a finalist as a true freshman. if RW would have wrestled this year there is no way he matches or beats his last year's performance and he transfers anyways. then you would have people saying, "they should have redshirted RW and let him mature a bit more. we already had a former AA in CK that could have got the job done. " -

i think somebody already made the point, but i'll paraphrase it: they got 5th and had 1 champ. from outside eyes that is more than likely seen as a successful season. and you're acting like CK wasn't a top ranked wrestler the whole year. few people would have guessed he would have been a 2 pump chump at NCAAs. good or bad TR is staying. -

what if mendez wouldn't have won, and lost to beau again? i wonder if he would have been in the portal as well. -

Welsh confirms other schools offered more NIL $$$
Not creative name replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
didn't the other side of bracket have 3 national champ because carter screwed everything up secondary to his injury? if seeding was any different there's a chance he doesn't even AA his freshmen year. -
Is anybody safe from PSU?
Not creative name replied to Not creative name's topic in College Wrestling
i took that whole interview as a nice way to say "OSU blows. i want daily PSU competition." i honestly don't think it had anything to do with redshirting or not. he knows OSU is not going to get him where he wants to be. even if he would have wrestled this year, unless he won NCAAs, i don't think there was any chance he was staying regardless. the give away was he him saying he didn't understand the recruitment process when he first did it. that is code for, "i made the WRONG decision." -
in the most recent interview Welsh basically said he wants to train with the best so he can be the best. i could see others adapting this mentality; sacrifice a year or two as B string but then when it is your time to shine you lay the hammer on everybody and bonus your way through NCAAs. i'm not saying Welsh won't make the starting lineup next season, but he is smart with his long term thinking. why be a 3 or 4 mid-tier NCAA placer when you can be a 1 or 2 time champ. i'd definitely pick the latter, not to mention the invaluable learned skills for a post collegiate career. will others follow suit and sit the bench for guaranteed later career glory?
