Maybe the reason BN seems to dislike DT is more of a personal one. DT has a family with kids, was the coach picked to take over one of the top college programs in the country, is (was?) a successful businessman, and is pretty much universally liked and respected. BN gets his azz kicked for a living and has a podcast with a couple of head nodders.

What Snyderman did wasn't vaguely as bad as what David did and David was and is revered by Christians. Of course David realized his errors, repented, begged God for forgiveness, etc, etc, etc. I'm guessing maybe he wrote the playbook for that now standard M.O. Does anyone really believe that Snyder won't follow the centuries old path and not only survive but flourish? I couldn't write these stories if I were being paid. I'd say to myself, No one would believe that, yet here we are, and have been for a loooong time.
