But I highly doubt anyone outside of Stillwater is expecting Hamiti to win Edit: As others have pointed out, Mesenbrink and Hamiti are not the same weight. Ethen Miller was up 8-0 on Van Ness first round of 2023 NCAAs before ultimately giving up a third period fall. I would call that destroying. Being up by one takedown? Not exactly destroying. It's one thing to have an early lead, it's a whole different thing to keep that lead for a full 7 minutes.

Technically Berge did lose to Wyatt Sheets in the round of 12, famously the "34th seed", but Berge had to MFF the match (got a concussion in the quarters if I remember correctly).

Mizzou backups were at an open on Saturday and didn't have anyone at 133 for the dual. Gioffre supposedly got hurt in warmups, hence the backup at 149. Overall, not a great performance by Mizzou. Also, have to give credit where credit is due, and the Cowboys went out there and made Mizzou look as bad as they did.
