I think you could probably beat him. He reminds of when John Smith had Marstellar suck down to 157. It was pitiful . I can't remember when I've seen a coach screw up a really talented wrestler. I know it was Hoffmans decision to go down to 184 but he has just lost so much strength and stamina in doing so.

He might have been a little bit under the radar as a freshman. He may have only had 6 or 7 high school matches before he got on the mat at the Ironman. But they knew who he was by the end of the tournament.

Are you related to Chris?. I'm from Ohio and wrestled in the early 70's . Then I wrestled in College. Followed my Nephew when he wrestled at Walsh and Penn State. I've followed Ohio wrestling for close to 50 years now. I'm very familiar with the Monroeville 4. Pretty amazing accomplishments./

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Scores of 4 to 1, 2 to1 tb ,, 5 to 1. how about 3 to2 ,5 to2, 2 to 0 and 1 to 0. how about 4 to2 and 3 to2. Looks very (challenging) matches to me. Those are scores from round of 16, quarter finals and semi-finals. Seems pretty competitive against the top wrestlers in the country.

The 6th ,7th and 9th seeds already had extremely close matches already. Now we are in the quarter finals. Which should be pretty exciting.

I remember watching the number one ranked 171 pounder in the country from ST Eds wrestling in the finals against an unknown freshman from Monroeville and getting thoroughly beaten. My nephew who went to Walsh (4 time state finalist and 3 time State champ ) thought the kid was senior from Pennsylvania. I told he was a freshman. He was shocked. But he was a freshman and a teammate of Logan Steiber. I also said they would challenge them ,which means tough matches.

Plasmodium reminds me of Germany. When your neighbor would suddenly disappear and you would ask the Gestapo what happened . No worries they are fine maybe a vacation. A few days later another family suddenly disappears. Gestapo says everything is fine don't worry visiting family. Week after week families disappear and you are worried but YOU CAN'T PROVE WHAT HAPPENED.. Gestapo same answer, everything is fine . We all now know everything wasn't fine.
