There are two main ways to view crypto. One is that is a revolutionary technology that will transform everything and change the way we live. In this view, regulators should do everything in their power to promote crypto and provide for a stable environment for its growth. The other view is that crypto is a mostly just a way to scam people. In this view, regulators should crack down mercilessly to prevent scams. Which do we think this is? Which does Donald Trump think this is? Does Donald Trump even know what this is? Before you answer any of those questions maybe it is best to know who the players are. First there is Donald Trump, who has denounced Bitcoin as a scam. Of course, if you are running a scam, doing it from the presidency may have some advantages. Then there is the "DeFi Visionary", Baron Trump. We all know about his business acumen. Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. will fill the roles of "web3 ambassadors". Then there are the two crypto entrepreneurs, Chase Herro and Zachary Folkman. They were behind a similar project called Dough Finance. Now what do you think? Transformative? Or scam? But wait, there is more. Herro describes himself as "the dirtbag of the internet" and Folkman used to run a service to teach men how to seduce women. Now what do you think? Oops, hold that thought. Let's talk about Dough Finance for a second. Never heard of it? Yeah, that is because it no longer exists. It no longer exists because it got "hacked" and all the money was stolen. But why did I put hacked in quotation marks, you might reasonably ask. Because it has long been believed that many/most crypto "hacks" were actually performed by insiders. The founder takes the money and then says, "gee, I am real sorry, but we got hacked. whadda ya gonna do? We will learn from this hack, and our next project will be super duper. And make no mistake, there will be a next project. While we are getting that going make sure to save your money so you can get in on the ground floor." Still deciding? The transform thing? Or the scam thing?

Kinzinger smells it, too.

I am so glad we have such an articulate candidate. Word salad? Never.

It used to be that the fate of all crypto enthusiasts was to get their money stole. Trump is here to help.

Someone needs to fill the Sidney Powell role for the Trump campaign.

David Taylor at WTT. Good or bad?

Maybe he is like me. I prefer to each my own. -
This feels like Michael Jordan-esque motivation. His commentary about Starocci's knee was a whole lot of so what. Nickal's reaction was a bunch of phony bluster. But if that is what he uses for motivation after all these years of grinding, then so be it. As for the fan part, yeah f*** that guy. As Burroughs said directly to him at the time, "what have you done?"

The fans part I get. He got booed by the fans, and then there was that dipshit in a PSU shirt leaning over the railing and getting into it with JB. But is he really that upset with Mesenbrink still? Seems silly. Or is there something Nolf did or said? Seems unlikely. And what is his beef with the coaches?

Not to worry. Handsome Tuesday is right around the corner.

I feel like Beau Bartlett or Nick Lee at 70 would be a stretch.

As I was saying, one of Trump's favorite bits is, when challenged, to play (?) dumb even while exposing himself as a liar. How about this ditty about that nut job, Laura Loomer? “She’s a strong person. She’s got strong opinions, and I don’t know what she said, but that’s not up to me. She’s a supporter,” Trump said. So which is it? You know about her opinions? Or you don't know what she said? All in the same sentence. Or how about him not giving two shits about the people he puts in danger with his lunatic claims? The city hall in Springfield was forced to close due to a bomb threat on Thursday. Two elementary schools were evacuated Friday “based on information received from the Springfield Police Division,” the Springfield City School District announced Friday. Two local hospitals — Kettering Health and Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center — were also forced into lockdown due to bomb threats Saturday, according to statements sent to CNN. And then Trump goes to his patented "I'm too dumb to know what is going on" cop out: Trump dismissed those concerns on Friday, and again on Saturday when asked whether he denounced the threats in Springfield. “I don’t know what happened with the, uh, bomb threats,” Trump said. The man is a coward.
