  1. Where did I proclaim that? You want to make a bet Ohio State doesn't manhandle Notre Dame? Name your price
  2. It's the curse of James Franklin. But, in the end they would've gotten spanked like Notre Dame will in just over a week. No one is stopping the Buckeyes. They're dialed in and far more talented than any team this year
  3. hmm. Notre Dame will lose by double digits. PSU lost to Ohio State by 7 and ND by 3. Thats 10 points. How many advancement points does ND get for making it to the finals? PSU didn't get the advancement point but lost by decision. I'd expect Ohio State beats Notre Dame by a major decision if not more. This is a tough one. @Wrestleknownothing, make the chart
  4. Heartbreaker but its ok because both of these teams will lose to Ohio State by double digits
  5. Depends on the result of the Hamiti Mesenbrink match. Wish we could have a round robin between these 3 to finally settle who's the best
  6. Julesburg Colorado...Mountain Time!
  7. Mountain Time is very misleading. There are no mountains in Julesburg Colorado
  8. This thread feels empty without @ILLINIWrestlingBlog
  9. They are not outsourcing it to China. We put a stop to that terrible idea. Greenland has mining agreements with the US and the EU.
  10. You're just casting your rod at this point in the hopes to catch a meaningless argument. My point is simple. If the US purchased Greenland it would be a monumental achievement that would benefit Americans. See. Simple. I'll repeat. It's not going to happen but if it did it would be monumental
  11. Word is he put his money on Angelo Ferrari to beat them both in the finals at the same time
  12. How about the High School coach of the loser gets the head coaching gig
  13. You're comment makes no sense. Those rare earth materials that Greenland has an abundance of are the very things that would benefit all Americans.
  14. Paying a hefty price and getting "rights" to Greenland would be a monumental achievement.
  15. Ha! Have had the same debate.
  16. I wouldn't take too much stock in Bo's comments. These interviews are geared towards MMA fans. Can't tell you how many worthless debates I've been in with my MMA buddies during the Burroughs/Khabib era. They legit thought Khabib could beat him on the mat. Same crap and no different than the McGregror nut huggers who believed he could beat Mayweather in boxing
  17. @ionel what are your thoughts on this. The winner of the Hamiti Vs Mesenbrink match this year gets the head coaching position at Iowa?
  18. From Dailywire (Right Leaning publication) In 2018, the Trump administration warned Denmark not to allow China, which wanted to build three airports in Greenland, to do so. China could potentially use the airports for warplanes. NOTE: China withdrew their bid to build those airports As far as the threat of China gaining global control over rare earth minerals, it is important to note the following: “Rare earth elements (REEs) – a group of 17 critical metals – are indispensable components in military defense systems, consumer electronics and renewable energy technologies,” NewsSecurityBeat reported. “Despite more than a decade of sustained efforts by Western countries and companies to loosen China’s grip, Beijing, by far remains the top player in the REE global mining, processing and refining sectors. … China has an effective monopoly over processing major heavy rare earths – Dysprosium (Dy) and Terbium (Tb), and Light Rare Earths – Neodymium (Nd) and Praseodymium (Pr). … From 1950 to October 2018, China filed over 25,000 rare earth patents, surpassing the US’ 10,000.“ “Greenland contains some of the largest deposits of rare earth elements (REE) on Earth, such as yttrium, scandium, neodymium and dysprosium,” Innovation News Network stated. “These REEs have unique properties that make them ideal for several industrial applications due to their ability to withstand extreme temperatures or chemical agents.” In addition, the U.S. Geological Survey estimates that there could be 17.5 billion undiscovered barrels of oil and 148 trillion cubic feet of natural gas off the coast of Greenland, and the Arctic Circle possibly has another 90 billion barrels of oil.
  19. It's more than shipping lanes. It's projected that Greenland houses nearly 1/4 of all rare earth minerals
  20. Another match with a lot of entertainment value was Perry-Hendicks '07. The match itself wasn't that special until the last minute (it was electric) had the family storyline plus lots of Hendricks haters. Another classic for this list.
  21. Focusing on the key word "Entertaining" than its a tie between Nickal/Martin '18 & Caldwell/Metcalf '09. Hard to imagine the Caldwell/Metcalf match wouldn't win this at an awards show.
  22. Have to be specific with your questions. I asked him to show the data that supports his claim
  23. Ok. Now show the math that supports your claims and then run a cross analysis showing the benefits
  24. I'm absolutely against the idea of forcibly taking any land and find it shameful that our President is presumably trolling about it. Who's to say he is not being serious. But, for argument sake. Lets say we could purchase it. I've yet to see one counterargument that it would be a bad deal. If anything it would be extremely advantageous on many levels
