Why not see Hamiti over Ramirez? Hamiti has a better record and was more dominant in his wins, plus Hamiti wrestled a tougher schedule.
Ramirez has a conference title and in common opponent (Carr) Ramirez edges Hamiti

What is going to happen with 174 bracket. We all know about Carter. But man that Griffith injury looked even worse. Will they throw the guys in the tournament and wait until last minute to see if they are alright. Will they allow late entries into the tournament and redo the entire bracket...?
Can you create/start the thread for PSU is below average 125-149, Nebraska is better, etc. I'm asking for a friend. He's been itching for a cinnabon. Can you glaze it with PSU wont win the tournament or something that's extra sweet?

Unless the formula has changed here's a breakdown between Carr & Ramirez so I could be wrong on ranking Ramirez higher...Based on last Coaches Poll & RPI
Carr | Ramirez
Head-to-head competition — 25 percent 0 | 25
Quality wins — 20 percent ? | ?
Coaches Ranking — 15 percent 15 | 0
Results against common opponents — 10 percent 10 | 0
RPI — 10 percent 10 | 0
Qualifying event placement — 10 percent 0 | 10
Win % — 10 percent 5 | 5

Ramirez h2h over Carr gets him the 3.
Yes, that's how the formula works. They also have the same winning % and Ramirez has a conference championship. He'll score higher on the formula

#1 O'Toole #2 Mesenbrink #3 Ramirez #4 Carr #5 Hamiti....I get it no one wants a Carr/O' Toole semis but Ramirez has the head to head and a conference championship

yeah that definitely makes it hard to do that as the committee I just don't know they want KOT vs Carr in the semis but I may be projecting because I also do not want that.
No one wants it but you can't punish Ramirez for winning the head to head and winning his conference. That's part of the formula they use for seeding

could see the seeding committee putting Carr over Ramirez since they can move within one of what the formula spits out
Ramirez has the head to head

Losses don’t come into play.
Good Point. Quality wins is 20% which I believe Davis should have another advantage

165 will be the premier weight at the NCAA's . Mesenbrink and O'Toole were coached by Askren and were on the same team.

Does it matter when 8 can beat 1 as often as the other way around.
Not this year

Davis giving up bonus to Caleb Smith was a noteworthy consideration that I consider worth of bringing to the table. I think Davis is the more likely number one, but concede an argument to be made for Stanich
Fair point. Wonder if the loss to Jax Forrest will play into it at all even if it's not officially on Stanich's record for seeding

Stanich could also make an argument, but Davis should be 2 at worst
At this point Braeden has far more better wins and far better losses. Hard to see him not jumping Stanich

Probably. He has better wins and better losses than all the other conference champs

Don't understand Feldman's strategy. He lives off reattacks. Diving in on Kerk isn't going to get it done
How will they seed 165 at NCAA Tournament?

That's irrelevant to seeding
