  4. Most guys that wrestled Jimmy Haines (the takedown machine) Jim Haines demonstrates a desire to attain what was important to him. His demonstration of dedication and desire is used by many coaches as an example of setting a goal and striving to reach that goal. Russ Hellickson, former University of Wisconsin wrestling coach, says, "In his final season as a Badger wrestler, Jim competed on the World team, Pan Am team, and the Olympic team before winning his NCAA title. Not bad for a kid who couldn't get a takedown in the practice room as a freshman. He was a man who had turned expectation into achievement." Jim has a commitment to perfection and strives to reach his goals through dedication and work. At the University, Jim became known as "Takedown Machine." During his last year of collegiate competition, Jim scored 224 takedowns and 39 matches.

Glad to see the East West All Star match return.....lot's of great matches....I look through the matches and hard to pick just 1, 2, or 3 favorites.......Starocci/Lewis, Kerkvliet/Cassioppi, Carr/Monday, O'toole/Hamiti, Brooks/Keckeisen, Gomez/Sasso.......good tests for these guys too to see where they're at right now.   14. both Van Ness and Lamars are RS freshman, Casey is a true freshman.....all 3 of them have great careers ahead of them. Lamars had a nice RS season last year.

  20. I mulch all summer with my Scag Zero turn, but I mow/dethatch and bag first cutting in the Spring and mow and bag as the leaves come down.....all that goes out in the adjoining farm field. My lawn is like Augusta National.
  21. I login, click on OPC, 22-23 college men, Gov. body = NCAA, Login, Choose meet (may have to search for it), click on dashboard.
  22. Shoot, as soon as I get a little warmer day/no snow, I will mow and pick up leaves one more time. Then rig the John Deere up for snowblowing.
