I’ve never been sexually assaulted or called that n word.   Maybe it will come out.   Only taking the side of the aggressor.  Well whatever man.

again.  Seems similar to shaming women who say they were raped.  We have no other info other than the guy with the allegations.  Coming out initially that he is 100% wrong is pretty victim shaming ish

you're right there is no such thing as a false allegation.

No one here said he was wrong but quite a few have said that his entire rant may indicate some issues and hope that he gets the help he needs.  If he allegations are true, he needs help and counseling, if they aren't, he also needs counseling.

There's an old proverb.. never check the depth of a river with both feet.  You went off with both feet and anchors in your pockets.

Y’all have been shaming the potential victim the whole time.   There is a new proverb: Take your Sandusky meds.

No one was held accountable so it didn’t happen is a HORRIBLE model to live by…yikes

I was 100 percent supportive of the victims in the Sandusky scandal and don't need to prove on this message board that I have a moral compass.

And I don't need to apologize for being unwilling to tarnish the entire Penn State wrestling program over what has been presented in social media thus far, especially when a police investigation started by Bartlett and supported by Sanderson yielded nothing.

McHenry obviously needs help and I hope he gets it.

With so many things this year.  Hookers.  Alcoholic’s fighting the police, peds twice I think, fighting after the whistle.  It’s hard to believe another scandal could be true right ?

I’ve said this many times Before….. I don’t have Penn state.  I hate Penn state fans.  They’re bad for the sport.  And they are showing it here

this is the argument of an idiot. Bad things are true therefore all bad things are also true.

Didn’t say it was true yet.  Calling out the blue glasses for saying it definitely is not true as if they have any idea what the frat boy hazing oil checkers are doing in that room.

instead of tossing out a team member that didn’t make it to the ncaa finals 100 times your calling out his mental state as opposed to supporting him.

Ain’t nobody talking about Sandusky or your moral compass…I’m talking about your reasoning and willful blindness (apparently) to the current situation/culture.

Going high and right about not apologizing and tarnishing the whole program etc…no one’s asking for that or to not be a fan of the program. Calm down killer.

That investigation could have been a “You need more physical proof kid” and it stopped there…that doesn’t mean nothing happened. And his wife saying we have the text and call logs proving Cael ignored our attempts at help definitely doesn’t say he supported anything. No one knows what he supported outside of protecting his legacy.

And yes I noticed you went back to add the part about McHenry…maybe with severity of potential  harm to him you should have led off with that and not made it an after thought…but you know…you know you don’t have to apologize for that either until the police say there’s substantial proof to say he’s not crazy.

You didn't say it was true you just said people don't believe it are like someone who covers up for a rapist, despite the fact that nothing about Mchenry's story makes any sense.

there are plenty of videos of wrestlers "checking oil" or whatever you want to call it (Aaron Brooks was insanely bad, yes I realize that doesn't help my case) but that doesn't mean you can retroactively call it a crime whenever its convenient. If you are asking if actual digital rape is common in "frat boy culture", no its not.

As for the "n word" its completely context dependent. I don't believe for a second someone said it as part of an organized intimidation campaign based on an attempt to enforce racist attitudes and marginalization.

Why don't I believe either? Because these things weren't recently discovered to be bad! He would have done something about it.

Not a PSU fan.

Like PSU fans even less.

Hate social media and the way kids express themselves these days.

There are no winners here.

PSU with a reputation issue, true or not, and this kid clearly is messed up.

People in this thread thinking "oil check" is ok and part of sport is beyond idiotic.

Racism allegations are just played out in almost any victimhood scenario.

More ugly stuff at the time of the year we should all be hyped to be a part of the sport.

A black guy said he was called the n word…….   your rebuttal was there are other blacks on the team

thats is sooooo im not racist I have a black friend boss.

Your racist comments are your racist comments.  They’re not my problem

The fact that there were numerous black guys on the team doesn’t mean no one called him the n word, but it would suggest that there likely wasn’t a culture of racism.  TBH, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Starocci or something that called him it.

I think it’s possible some of the stuff he said actually happened, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Cael had anything to do with it or even knew about it.   Heck the fact that Cael took him on the team knowing he had a DUI and that he didn’t need a 125, shows that Cael probably does want to give guys second chances

It demonstrably is part of the sport. This happens a lot, and if you actually care let me know what you've done about it.

Coached it out of my program for the past 24 years.  It's not wrestling.  It's not ok.

All joking aside.  Oil checking does not belong.

The Difference is. There is a Huge difference in a match situation and a much larger wrestler doing it during practice against a small dude.   I think the latter is what mchenry and Bartlett are talking about.  Like pre practice warm ups and some 174 or 84+ wrestler grabbing a 133/141 lber holding him down and oil checking.

thats all fair but like i said earlier there is context to all of this. if he was wrestling starooci and got oil checked a lot we're close to criminal territory.

We don’t know Is all.  Like I said.  Match situation I don’t like it but it happens.   Holding down a little guy and hazing is far diff story… add the n word to holding down…. You got yourself some espn level documentary stuff

Yeah but with the details offered, in the way they were presented, its way more plausible that the lack of context is by design. And I know you don't agree so fair enough.

also i think i was rude earlier i shouldn't have been, apologies.

Why don't you become more active on the Iowa threads of their dual meets instead of stirring s*** all the time. It's guys like you who make it easy to hate on Iowa, but I would never do that, nor would I hate on Iowa fans. It's okay, though. I should realize that you're most likely not an adult yet.

I just report the news boss.  Don’t be mad that your psu teammates are accusing your other teammates of sexual assault.  I can’t control them.   There are at least 83 posts per day on fb about it and Twitter too.   It’s hard to avoid.
