Our local Head Start is full of families experiencing food insecurity.  Despite having jobs, their SNAP benefits and paychecks only stretch so far. The school provides take home bags of staple goods on weekends to help offset.

The program that the dimocrats are currently trying to extend was to be a temporary fix to an imagined problem brought on by the pandemic and the gov’ts reaction to it.  They are the ones who scheduled it to end in December, 2025.
