I love that for her... but hate that for USA Women's Wrestling.

It is pretty cool news. Such a young successful athlete to become a mom. It is not common for a woman to get pregnant in her prime(she might not even be in her prime yet). It is often pushed til retirement. A unique situation. Can anyone name a similar situation to this? Amit is 21 years old.

I agree that we may not have even seen Amit at her peak yet. Adeline I think was a bit older when she had a child, but was still in her prime IIRC. On the other side of the hump, the Alo sisters, notably Teshya, were on the rise before pregnancy and other life things took over.

Two-time world champ Kristie Marano/Davis' story is wild. She essentially hid her pregnancy when she was like 18 or 19 (1998) and wrestled when she was 9 months pregnant. Pretty sure Kristie won world silver that year and the next. Then went on to win worlds in 2000. 

Kayla Marano (the baby she had in 1998) went on to have a pretty solid wrestling career. Cadet world bronze in 2015 and U23 World 5th in 2021.
