You can sort by various types of totals. Murder, violent crime, total crime, etc. DC is NOT near the top or ahead of memphis in murders, violent crime  or total crime. Not remotely close.

Trump said it best.  When world leaders fly into our capital they see a dump. Shitty roads, homeless encampments and garbage everywhere.  As the leader of the free world your capital city needs to be your advertisement not a shithole like it’s become.  Clean it up and then move in to the rest of the shithole inner cities.

That's what North Korea does. I'm sure world leaders will assess our national poverty rate and inform their decisions based upon what poverty they see on their limo ride from airport to white house.

Most of the tourists are going places other than DC. Also, if you are in DC and anywhere near the White House, it's always been a very clean area w/ minimal crime. The crime tends to be farther out.

Sure. Send in federal law enforcement to take care of the problem so the city doesn't have to. Maybe a geat deal for the city to have taxpayers from all over the country pay to take care of their problems so they don't have to pay for it themselves. 

YOU can pay for law enforcement in cities hundreds of miles away from where you live. Great deal for you, huh?

I always did. I haven't been unemployed in almost 30 years; right after I got out of the Army. Even back then, I had grad school pretty much lined up by the time I got out.

Payscale.com lists the avg pay for someone that polishes rocks for a living at $59,147 per year. My yearly income hasn’t been that low since 1993 ish. There’s a reason why he has to do side gigs to survive.

So in your opinion people should never fully retire? There is 110% nothing wrong with fully enjoying life without working once you have saved up enough money that you no longer need to work. Jimmy is still paying taxes on the money he withdrawals in retirement, you do understand that correct? You act like he is leaching off the system like one of these people that abuse the EBT system.

That's laziness.. I plan on working until I physically can't work anymore. Hard work is good for the soul..
