Although he can be somewhat controversial with his statements, Nashon is generally an interesting interview.

His "retirement interview" with Bader was excellent if you can get through the talk of 'Nashon's parallel universe vs. Cory Clark's parallel universe' and a few other things.

At the end, Bader asks him to talk about some of the guys he wrestled.  Nashon brings up his respect for Austin Desanto and discusses this match that I linked.  Nashon was up 8-0, saw a look in Desanto's eyes and knew Desanto was going to keep coming.  At that point Nashon made the interesting decision to see what it would be like to try to match Desanto's pace.  It is a great match to watch, but didn't work out well for Nashon.  What an interesting decision to make (try to wrestle to your opponent's greatest strength), but I can certainly respect it.

Seth posted a youtube video where he talks about Austin wrestling after the whistle at the end and its pretty awesome. Austin apologized and said "I'm sorry I'm trying to be better I just hate losing" I thought that was really raw and while its only a few words gives a really good perspective of Austin and I am sure a lot of these guys.

Flo posted a documentary on YT that goes into Nahshon's upbrining and his trials and tribulations. Pretty incredible to see his transformation from a nerdy kid with low self esteem to the man he is now. Wrestling and Cornell made him the best version of himself and I am grateful he stuck around the scene as long as he did.

I was lucky enough to be just a few rows up from the mat for his semi in 2016 at the Garden.  Between his wrestling and his smile he just lit up the arena. I'll never forget it. Best wishes to him in his future endeavors.

I always have to catch myself on Flo.  They are annoying with content control, but my god they are AMAZING artists when it comes to telling athletes' stories.  The best part is how they get people comfortable enough with opening up about their realest, deepest realities.
