Can anyone tell me the story of Jaxon Joy?

He's got like 24 matches in my database (and is 23-1!).  Most of his matches list him as Spartan Combat RTC, but there are a couple of tournaments in Track where he is with Univ of Central Florida.  His only loss is to Contrabone from Michigan (who only has 5 matches)

Pablo has him like the 6th best wrestler at 149 this year.

Is he redshirting for someone?  Or is it something else?

I thought he was a Cornell grey shirt

That would make sense, I think, considering he is with Spartan Combat.  He wrestled in a boatload of open events (Kauffman, Mat Town I and II, Edinboro, just to name a few)

Not sure how some meet managers decided he was with Univ of Central Florida (it's in a couple of meets, in fact)

finger lakes/cornell RTC same think simon ruiz did last year. Kid was great in high school lost to melvin miller at super 32 but then got it back I believe. Has definitely jumped levels in that room though. He does not really have any head turning wins this year Derek Raike and Gioffre are probably the two best and they are fringe NQ guys. Cam Catrabone who I like a lot is his lone loss but Catrabone is a menace on top so that could be why.

One thing about Pablo is that it does like lots and lots of wins over middle level competition.  For example, if you have 20 matches against opponents where you have like a 2500 Pablo point advantage (that's a 95% chance of winning each match), the probability of winning all 20 of those matches is only about 1/3.  So he might not have had any wins against any top guys this year, but if you can win that many against middling guys, it means you must be doing something right.

I just thought it was wild, 24 matches wrestling for SCRTC.  He's going up against D1 competition and doing very well.
