I know he's a foreigner but hes here legally and the only thing I can see that he did "wrong" was protest against Israel.

Pretty disturbing that somebody can get arrested just for protesting here, u.s. citizen or not.

Slippery slope.

Wingers are all for free speech but  only if they like what's being said. If not, arrest them.

Whatever the reason for the arrest, it should be in the law. Non citizens can't protest? Ok, put thst in the law. Not simply because orange diaper boy feels like it.

You're a pathetic hypocrite too. If AOC is our next President, you won't want our president deciding this.

If this guy broke the law, which I don’t know his particular story to make a judgment, but if he broke the law he is facing the consequences he should be facing.

But as to your question above, the answer can be found in none other than the United States Constitution.  Maybe you want to familiarize yourself??  It’s pretty important for our citizens to know and understand the constitution.

Is it not settled law that the bill of rights extends to non citizens?  I thought the rights apply to persons more generally and not citizens.

This is my statement that you responded to.
Comprehension is a wonderful thing to have in a conversation.

It's important to know which law someone might have broken in order to decide what consequences they should face.

Is it similarly important to pardon someone ?

So apparently the first amendment is only valid if you say nice things about Trump or things he supports. I personally don't like the Palestinians protest messaging, but it's their right to do it.
