Sun Devil fall from grace has been brutal and swift….only 3 seeded wrestlers in the conference tourney. Heartbreaking for an ASU fan.

Ramos in at 149. Yas is also out at 141. What a terrible career turn for him.

Teague at 149 is intriguing.  Yes, he wrestled 157 because he couldn’t beat Williams and he was the best of the rest for the hole at 157.  Fish was going to RS this season before Teague was injured.  I don’t know why the switch was made, but if Carter has been wrestling hurt, it wouldn’t be surprising.  I seem to remember a few times when he looked like he was hurt.

Arizona St looks to be in bad shape going into the post season. According to wrestlestat ASU only has 9 "starters" - no 174 starter listed. Of the other 9 weights 5 of the 9 are ranked 98th or worse. A lot worse at several weights. How does a bigtime program like ASU have such little depth? How much help do they have coming in next season?

Any idea what's up with Yas? As a Devil fan its so frustrating not having a clue what's going on with all of the injuries (I'm assuming this year). Never any word on Yas being in and out of the lineup, Vasquez, Larkin, the 184 JC champ. Not even having a 174 entry is sad. If all that I'd mentioned had been healthy along with Parco and Teamer, it would have been another top 5 team rather than fielding a JV squad.

also Aziz Fayzullaev was supposed to be some big stud at 184...he comes in, gets a big early season win and vanishes. Is he even on the team anymore?

Don't agree/understand the Colton Hawks seed (#8) at 184.  He's ranked #10 in the Intermat rankings and has three wrestlers seeded higher for Big 12 that are ranked lower.   No offense to Eddie Neitenbach (Wyoming), but he's ranked 30th and seeded ahead of Hawks (#10).    What's up?

Hamiti is 7-0 O'Toole is 1-0 what would you expect?

Would expect O'Toole to be seeded #1 since he beat Haines this year and Haines beat Hamiti.  As they say though, regardless of who is seeded what, you still need to win in on the mat.  I'm comfortable with O'Toole's chances.

Hamiti and Haines haven't had a college match

Damn, that's too bad, he's only got one more chance to AA after this year. I think he's a sold R16 guy, but he can get hot and beat enough guys to AA. What kind of injury?

Hawks doesn't have the required 15 matches for an RPI.  As such he did not receive an Allocation.  Both Robin & Neitenbach received B12 Allocations.

Note sure why Hawks wasn't sent to a Last Chance qualifier to get a few more matches ?

ISU was his first match back since his knee injury. Both him and KOT had big braces on their knees. He didn’t do much losing 1-0 to Bachman and in doing so chose neutral while down 1-0 going into the third. If I had a guess, his knee isn’t where it needs to be and rest and rehab were priority over the needed matches for RPI
