By the way was marylands number one fan there tonight? I didn’t get to tune in.

Indeed he was, although he was fairly subdued. If one didn't know better, they would think he was a typical fan- albeit a moderately animated and loud one. Dude is up there in years; I don't know how old he is, but he was involved in Watergate (do the math).

Nick South, certified at 65 ,wrestled Wilcox of Ohio Friday night, then bumped up to 84 against Maryland. Nice call by Indiana to win the match and dual.

Mad props to all posters on this thread.  Getting to a second page of legit posts on Indiana-Maryland is a true tribute to the board's members as true fans.  🙂

Nice job Indiana. Since Angel has been in charge the squad has always fought all three periods. Out maned or not they keep hammering for the full match. Unlike in the previous Goldman era. The last 5 or so years.

They key is to recruit Columbus East kids haha

Does he stay up?

I was hoping to see Michael North and Nick South wrestle next season at 165...

Seriously.

Also, does nobody find it funny that he wrestled a 157lber at 165 and lost then bumped to 184 and beat a guy who has wrestled 197 at least once each season, save for this one for obvious reasons, for his team (Maryland).

Neither matches were really that competitive either.

That’s a hell of a reach for him if he does continue at 84. But I seriously doubt it. Indiana has holes to fill, I just think this was a good call to win the dual.
