Gophers wrestled true freshman 125 pounder Blake Beissel at 133 and lost to Fugitt 8-4.  Cooper Flynn needed a last second takedown and nearfall to beat Rivera at 125.

Amos and Zargo are redshirting this season, if I were in their shoes I would be jumping in that portal the second it opens.

Bono came out of his hole the other day and released a video saying how young they are and how much better they are getting.

I’ve heard that same line for 5 years now…..No hope in Madison

Rivera and Condon can grow into very good wrestlers in the right room. Not convinced this is the right room.

So to summarize this last offseason:
- Askren turned the job down
- In anger, or response(?), administration extended Bono
- Wiscy regresses to the lowest it's been in the Wrestelstat era (dual rank) with many injury issues

I wish Reader would get out of his shadow and show what he is capable of, although I am thankful that Bennett was able to tab the spot at CMU instead of Reader.
