That minute scramble broke Sergio he had three I can't believe they didn't throw the brick but Hardy has his number but if he would have got that first three which I swear he had it... it may have won a different way but Hardy is tough

These Michigan four timers just don't seem as tough as they were 10 years ago and whatnot Logan Massa was never getting techfalled his red shirt freshman year heck I think he only lost three matches and took third now we got four timers getting destroyed

Time to bench Chase and take the red shirt off Brock at 157 Brock is much better than Chase I guarantee he needs to be in the lineup he was killing it before they set him down

Minto has been stalling like crazy

I didn't see it that way. No one did anything in the first. Beau decided to roll around and get into time wasting scrambles just to get ridden out in the second. Got a reversal early in the third, and took the shot that created the final scramble where he ended up on top.

I wouldn't say he was stalling, but he ended up in situations where he was clinging to a leg to prevent an escape/takedown during scrambles multiple times which made it feel kind of dirty. Do you agree?

This is bad they don't know how to get takedowns this has to be a coaching thing it seems like the only take Downs other than Mason and Myles came from transfers the last couple years ...our coaches aren't teaching offensive wrestling even Lemley hasnt progressed but rather looks like he took steps backwards in just one year from being a very offensive wrestler to doing nothing now through a lot of matches

Wow, Michigan is getting handled.   All of those four timers just did not translate to college.

how many classifications does Michigan have in HS.

Beau is usually trying to score like a machine all match but tonight it just seems like everyone's dead even Lemley didn't look like his normal offensive self I don't know what's going on with this team

4 classes.... usually four timers from Michigan more dominant in college up until like the last number of years

Yes that’s fair, it was mostly the hanging onto the leg.  One time they stopped it for a stalemate and I believe Minto was technically on top, should’ve been a stall IMO

Yeah, it feels slimy when the top guys is clinging to a leg to prevent a reversal. But when the bottom guy initiates the scramble situation and the top wrestler ends up on a leg to prevent a reversal, they don't call the top wrestler for stalling because the bottom guy put himself into that position. It's different than actively going to a leg to prevent an escape. That being said, it seems a little arbitrary at times.
