Steed was up big before the injury default. Was close to a pin early. Hopefully he can remain healthy the rest of the way.

Expand I'll be curious to see what happens with Walker, Mauger, Crapps, and Mendoza over the next few years. Good problem to have for the tigers in the lightweights.

Moore is a "head scratcher". His style is dangerous and unpredictable. Fun to watch, but can go south pretty quick. I wonder how much weight is an issue? Arizona State is kinda going through the same kind of year as Mizzou is, except they got 2 wrestlers bought by Iowa. It's the times we live in. 1
JimmyCinnabon Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I thought Chlebove would be better at this level than he has been based on his high school career. It just goes to show that it's really hard to predict results at the NCAA level for high school kids. 2

Expand Yeah me too... he finished the season pretty strong last year. I expected top 12ish this year. Vasquez getting beat by EJ Parco was very surprising.... Adisson had a good win over Monteiro. Expand Don't think Mizzou is necessarily going downhill, they've just been devastated by injuries this season. Four projected starters (and arguably their top 4 guys) are not in the lineup. Not making excuses because I don't think they've wrestled their best so far, and all teams deal with injuries, but Mizzou seems hit particularly hard this season. 1
